Someone starting to like what they see...a nice 300k share bidder is floating around here now. I believe just one buyer coming into the ask like that will send it out of this range quickly. A nice news drop from WIZZ could possibly bring more than one of those types of buyers. Or even an update regarding a new airline partner :)
The excitement continues to build.

Definitely can't just focus on that as there are clearly benefits on the backend..but for now I mainly look at that because we don't know if that side generates any revenue for ASIP or if that is just an add on.
Don't concentrate solely on the passenger end of IPTK's fflya system. The potential benefits to the airlines are just as valuable, imo
"Hyping the passenger benefits of the fflya solution likely misses the key value proposition for an airline. The potential operational and back-office benefits could prove dramatic, even on a very, very lightweight connection link. Payment processing is an important low-hanging fruit to secure. And it is easily addressed over the small connection. For a carrier with a significant in-flight sales operation, reducing the fraud and increasing the average transaction size likely covers the cost of the implementation."
https://paxex.aero/wizzair-inflight-connectivity-wifi-fflya-bluetooth/
"In addition to passenger connectivity, fflya also transmits operational telemetry data from the A320 and A321 fleet operated by Wizz Air."

FYI, in the broadband world a Viasat system on a corporate jet costs around $650k.
Has a very large dish antenna in the top of the tail and only suits large corporate jets. Until now Midsize jets have either GOGO if they fly USA only, or Inmarsat for international.
The big K Band players like Viasat, Intelsat, Inmarsat Utelsat etc all have the same issue. The curvature of the fuselage on a business jet makes it very virtually impossible to mount the existing antennas and same challenge will happen on the next Gen flat plate antennas.
Not so hard on a Boeing or Airbus airliner, but the bracket and seal needed to mount on them cost around USD$100k.
As they are outside the pressure vessel you cannot get a more hostile temperature and vibration environment and the fuselage bends and flexes.
The other common issues with KBand is, just like your SatTV, heavy cloud kills the internet service and moisture on the dish/plate from condensation has a similar effect by slowing it right down. So the bracket and seal design is critical, but don’t fly in clouds. Hence why on many winter flights no signal.
That is why all aircraft navigation satellites including GPS satellites are L Band (the ones we use). You can’t have cockpit coms or GPS shut down, plus they only need very small antennas.

Great to see more coverage popping up. Hopefully that continues right into Wizz sounding their trumpet...figure that starts once these 19 planes are operational. Good stuff!

First story I’ve seen that mentions the airline usage for fflya
“Wizz Air, the Hungarian low-cost airline, is adding in-flight connectivity to its U.K.-based fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft under a new agreement with AS-IP Tech, Inc.
Under the new agreement, Wizz Air will integrate AS-IP Tech’s fflya Bluetooth platform into its mobile app and provide free SMS, WhatsApp messaging, and email to its passengers. According to AS-IP Tech, their system is enabled by installing one single Bluetooth wireless access point and two window-mounted antennas affixed to both sides of the aircraft.
According to an update on the technology shared by AS-IP Tech in November, some Wizz Air passengers have already been using the technology on U.K.-based A320 and A321 routes operated by the airline. Although AS-IP Tech provides very little details bout how its technology works, their antennas and Bluetooth access points leverage connectivity provided by the Iridium Next satellite network.
In addition to passenger connectivity, fflya also transmits operational telemetry data from the A320 and A321 fleet operated by Wizz Air. Wizz Air is promoting the upgrades to its U.K.-based fleet as “TEXT&FLY BY WIZZ.”
“Following months of successful flight testing, we are delighted to be selected by Wizz Air pioneering our new generation of in-flight connectivity,” ASIP Tech President Ron Chapman said. “We look forward to working with WIZZ and building on our unique messaging technology that provides the foundation for enhanced services including, inflight live payment, real-time telemetry and E Commerce.”
The connectivity and messaging services will be provided free of charge to customers, according to Wizz Air.”

yep lets hope so
If you build it they will come...Ron and team are building it...How many B$ airlines before the market really takes notice of the potential? If there is any whiff of substantial buying it will get interesting quickly with this float. Hopefully some small funds that play in the space will take a look here.

IPTK and Wizz deal the top story at IFE Express, the weekly email newsletter from Airfax. Good to see so many outside sources running and featuring the IPTK-Wizz deal. One of the "hot topics" in the link below
http://www.airfax.com/blog/
Very good points. Covid definitely effected progress but now we’re passed that and rolling. Excited times ahead.
Yeah. A few things maybe we will see that could help with that...in no particular order
- Wizz get vocal about this deal...PR, Socials, larger media.
- Wizz take an equity position unless it creates some kind of issue.
- Any large or small institutional holders come in to the picture...with this float just one could certainly have an impact.
- The beginning of actual revenues or a PR outlining what potential revs could begin to look like once operational.
- The announcement that these first 19 planes are up and operational.
- Announcement of another airline or airlines ready to begin testing.
It continues to get more exciting here with each update we receive. The ball is clearly rolling. Our days under .10, .15 or .20 could be coming to a close in the not too distant future...either way the momentum with the business is building. It's clear that an alternative to WIFI is needed especially in the Low Cost segment...And it appears that ASIPTECH has the offering that best fits. Are there any other connectivity solutions out there where the airlines/service providers actually make money and not just lose it? If not...then that seems like a pretty big selling point to me.

Great catch. Maybe we start seeing more coverage from some other outlets as well. This is pretty big news for a huge industry. Maybe we hear something soon on these other airlines. If we gotta go thru the same process for each one...let's get those test planes installed :) I believe Ron had already mentioned one in the past and commented that it wouldn't be a pilot program. Officially out from the exclusivity with Wizz the door seems to be open for other news with other airlines.
Always excited for the next update from this camp. What is this proprietary software or Bluetooth stack worth?

Wizz Air UK to expand free messaging via ASIP Bluetooth connectivity
By Mary Kirby
Wizz Air has selected AS-IP Tech (ASIP) to install its novel Bluetooth connectivity solution, with window-mounted antennas, across the carrier’s UK-based fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 twinjets to facilitate free messaging for passengers.
The budget operator has been trialing ASIP’s fflya-branded platform on a single A321 since late last year. Now it has agreed to integrate fflya into its mobile app and provide free messaging (SMS, email and WhatsApp) to passengers on Wizz Air UK — marketing the solution as TEXT&FLY BY WIZZ.
“Following months of successful flight testing, we are delighted to be selected by Wizz Air pioneering our new generation of inflight connectivity,” says ASIP president Ron Chapman. “We look forward to working with Wizz and building on our unique messaging technology that provides the foundation for enhanced services including inflight live payment, real-time telemetry and e-commerce.”
The fflya solution’s unique dual window antennas transmit data via the Iridium NEXT global network of LEO satellites. Though the initial Wizz Air trial aircraft used Iridium’s legacy service over its NEXT constellation, Chapman confirms to RGN that future installs will include a provision for Iridium’s new-generation Certus 100 ‘midband’ service.
“We expect to commence Certus flight testing on Wizz next month,” he tells Runway Girl Network. “Its primary function is to support operations. However, it will also support our enhanced passenger messaging services. We will use the extra bandwidth to handle our highly compressed pics — a virtual Instagram capability. Millennials and Gen Z love text and pics and Wizz carries about 24 million of them.”
Chapman says ASIP’s agreement with Wizz Air covers the carrier’s growing UK-based fleet, which presently numbers 19 aircraft, “plus options at Wizz Hungary’s discretion to expand the fleet”. He reckons that equipage could be completed in the third quarter.
Screenshot of Wizz Air's app showing integration with ASIP Bluetooth-powered texting serviceRather than using a traditional onboard Wi-Fi network, fflya uses a frequency-hopping Bluetooth access point/router as a lower-cost alternative to Wi-Fi.
The Internet and Wi-Fi rely on the TCP/IP protocol, which ASIP deemed would be cost-prohibitive to operate onboard using Iridium’s L-band satellite network. So ASIP built a new protocol. The company developed its own implementation of the fifth generation Bluetooth stack — an implementation that it believes is a world first.
Though proprietary specifics about the innovation are not being divulged, ASIP’s software framework embedded in the app gives Wizz Air UK options; a mobile app that both optimizes passenger messaging and integrates with the airline’s retail and e-commerce strategy.
Moreover, the lightweight system only requires one head-end device to connect the entire cabin, including the rear galley and flight deck, and can be installed without a supplemental type certificate.
Separately, ASIP has just shipped its initial Certus 100 testbed kit, which will be installed on a Gulfstream G450 business jet next week.
Discussions with several other airlines are also now well underway, as the firm’s exclusivity with Wizz Air has ended
IPTK Great to see the news this morning! Congrats again to Ron and the team. Sounds like embedding the tech into the airlines existing app is still the plan. Inching closer to actual commercial airline revenues being generated. Looks like we might not hear about it from Wizz until these first 19 planes are up and running? Hopefully they sound the horn loudly when the time is right. Airlines now being able to actually make money while providing free texting etc to passengers seems like a pretty big deal for the industry to me. Looking forward to future updates.

News out!
ASIP Tech selected by Wizz Air for free inflight connectivity
NEW YORK, June 3, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- AS-IP Tech (USOTC: IPTK) announced today it has signed an agreement with Wizz Air (LSE: WIZZ) to provide connectivity on its fleet of A320 and A321 UK based aircraft.
In a world first, Wizz Air will integrate AS-IP Tech's fflya Bluetooth platform into its mobile app and provide free messaging (SMS, Email and WhatsApp) to its passengers. It will be marketed as TEXT&FLY BY WIZZ.
ASIP Tech President Ron Chapman said "Following months of successful flight testing, we are delighted to be selected by Wizz Air pioneering our new generation of inflight connectivity. We look forward to working with WIZZ and building on our unique messaging technology that provides the foundation for enhanced services including, inflight live payment, real-time telemetry and E Commerce."
Marion Geoffroy, Managing Director at Wizz Air UK, said "At Wizz Air, we are always looking to enhance the customer experience, which is why we are delighted to now offer our customers free connectivity for messaging onboard our UK flights. TEXT&FLY BY WIZZ underlines our commitment to enhancing our digital offering and putting customer satisfaction first."
About Wizz Air
Wizz Air, the fastest growing European low-cost airline and one of the most sustainable, operates a fleet of 154 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. A team of dedicated aviation professionals delivers superior service and very low fares, making Wizz Air the preferred choice of 10.2 million passengers in the financial year F21 ending 31 March 2021. Wizz Air is listed on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker WIZZ. The company was recently named one of the world's top ten safest airlines by airlineratings.com, the world's only safety and product rating agency, and 2020 Airline of the Year by ATW, the most coveted honour an airline or individual can receive, recognizing individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves through outstanding performance, innovation, and superior service.
If Wizz is tied into this by royalties on every other airline that comes online after them it would be great to see them make an investment for equity in IPTK to show support. That would be huge news. If they believe in FFLYA then it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility for them to take a 5% or more stake in the company. If revenues show up and profits look probable then maybe we even see some other entity in the space come in for an investment?
Just some thoughts.
I can't wait to get the update that this first round of planes is operational. Alot of messages per day would come off 19 or 20 planes that is for sure. Granted some people may not use it at all...but seeing these single passenger records mentioned...I figure we get somewhere between 300-1000 messages sent/received per flight on flights with reg avg capacity...but obviously that is a pure guess..maybe it's more...but I certainly wouldn't think much less than the low end of that range.

patience will be rewarded here.

With 6 months of passenger free messaging under our belt, I was not surprised by the amount of people who had 100 messages in a flight. The record so far was 208, but recently a passenger set a new record, 249. Looking forward to next week when our first production system start rolling off the line.
Fflya, the only Bluetooth free messaging solution that makes money, unlike Wi-Fi where they expect passengers to pay.

I will gladly take some more shares at .02 if they want to walk this thing back down there. Looking like 1 bidder at .05 and then 2 bidders at .02. I'll take whatever this seller wants to sell down here. No way Wizz goes thru all this time and testing and puts this on 19 or 20 planes and not see some serious potential in what Fflya can do for them and other low cost carriers. I don't know when this seller stops putting large blocks on the ask or when we start seeing some actual revenues...but I think we are inching closer to both. Hopefully LXM Group or whoever is handling the advertising portion is gearing up and getting clients excited about what's up coming on Wizz flights.
This still sounds more like $2 potential than it does .02 potential in my opinion...especially with this share structure. Will be here to see how it all plays out.
From PDF 2018 update.
"What led us to this point?
It has taken 28 years of creating airline connectivity solutions to refine this model. More recently 10 years of R&D, 12 months to convince Apple it would work, 4 years of flying globally and commissioning 70 business aircraft, 2 years of conversations with over 100 airlines, ground testing on an A340 and independent crew testing on B777 and Airbus A380, plus endless research and understanding of mountains of technical standards breaking down so called impossible barriers.
We appreciate it’s has been a long haul and we still have more work to do, but with Iridium Next online the path is clear. Our goal is to have our airline system operational this year, once we do the industry has
changed for good."

We know that the majority of our target audience in Eur uses Iphones...but nice to see Google numbers updated to 1,000+ DL's and again this is just one plane during test mode. Encouraging. Will be interesting to see how this monetizes out on just the messaging side of things as the system gets going. One of the big promoted benefits of Fflya is the ease of installation...hopefully some of that is what is displayed during this first round of installs. We are getting closer.

Nice to see the timely filing of the Q today. Here is a video look back to the Iridium satellite launch from 1997.
On Certus, completed final lab testing in April, the first preproduction Bizjet system is built and we should ship next week. Just had the new app approved on the App Store (Bizjetinternet), so flight testing on Bizjet will start this month. It is the fore runner to the 2nd Gen airline system.
We have added test provisions to accomodate it in the first bunch of airline installation kits, which are currently scheduled for end May, but getting the existing airline platform up and running is our priority. So can’t see anything on Certus airline testing happening until Q3.
Hello Ron. Just curious if there has been any headway on the testing of Certus with the private jets or the one airliner mentioned mentioned for April?
Thx.
Maybe IPTK soon gets a cnbc blurb? Feels like the FFLYA solution may have more staying power than free wifi on large airlines? At least how things stand currently.

Thx Ron. I truly think that you deserve all the success and few of us can’t wait to see this story unfold.
I'm sure everyone following on this board thanks you in return for all of your hard work and persistence. Those of us here saw your vision, agreed with it and at some point decided to get involved. Although it has taken some time and will still require more of that going forward the ball is really rolling now. An incredible story in progress. In the penny stock world we don't usually find ourselves with very many opportunities to invest in legit companies that could actually disrupt a major industry...I feel like this tech has that kind of potential. And obviously a certain $2B airline agrees with that line of thinking. And yes I'm sure changing the mind set of an entire industry seems like an impossible task to 99% of the people out there no matter what you are bringing to the table...but to this point you have proven yourself to be the exception...the 1% that has what it takes to make a valiant effort to try and change things, break things and disrupt. Hat's off to you on that note.
I figure this evening as you typed that last message you were typing with one hand and enjoying a nice cocktail with the other while looking back a bit at the journey to this point. Either way take a moment to enjoy the moment.
Certainly looking forward to this upcoming PR.
A HUGE congrats and thank you again,

Thank you all for your positive comments and support. This is a watershed moment in ASIP’s history. As I am sure you can appreciate, changing an industries thinking is a bit like moving the QEII with a rubber dinghy. It takes time, but if you persevere it can be done.

fflya opens the inflight imagination of airline passengers by delivering products and services, plus exciting tours and attraction offers relative to where they are flying. fflya also reconnects passengers with family and friends through free messaging.
Only ASIP Tech has the unique fflya network that can deliver this exclusive inflight service.
It is made possible by the integration of the latest generation App technology, Bluetooth, and Low Earth Orbit Iridium Next satellites.
Combine this with fflya’s world first window antennae and no longer do you need to install complex, heavy, fuel burning antennas on the roof of your aircraft.
LEO’s are only 600 kilometers up and the existing 66 satellites provide global coverage. Each aircraft only require 2 unobtrusive window antennas. One on either side of the aircraft and everyone is connected.
LEO’s also mean a much smaller, lighter system which is simpler to install and that translates into a fully self funding program that we guarantee will generate revenue for your airline from day one.
