Do you think hedge funds are ok with just throwing away a couple of million?

Esp considering they have a perfect opportunity to make a killing?

You're right they don't care about the little guys. But they have the same shares as the little guys so we're in the same boat in that aspect.

etc etc etc

The point of transferring assets in a bankruptcy is to avoid creditors. The companies you listed all had significant debts. SOUPQ creditors were paid in full. Now there is absolutely no reason to transfer assets to a private company at this point. By doing this they would wipe out all of their shares and gain nothing.
