FWIW, I think Leprecon has done an excellent job of running the numbers.

I fail to understand why many are so quick to jump on other analysis that simply makes little to no sense.

BTW, For my personal view, I think the PFS model is hopeless due to "garbage in" issues. The OS looks fairly reasonable though.

BUT, as always, people should be clear that these type number games are more for entertainment only. There are so many things that might go wrong.

One thing is quite certain, that is as LL told us a long time back, "everybody is living a lot longer".
The market agrees with you that the data points we have including how many are alive as of 6/2017 and when the patients were all enrolled isn't enough to reliably predict success.

The market did react quite negative at the time, misinterpreting (IMO) those comments from LL. There's still an overhang from those comments, and when combined with other factors that have cast doubt about the company overall, have led to the current situation.

The really good news is that the statistical model work that posters are doing is confirming the common sense observations about patients that have responded (e.g., the long tail in the trial) and the preliminary comments from the investigators.

Professionally, it's very hard to defend Linda and Les in terms of how they've managed the financing and public/investor relations aspects of this project. But they do seem to have been steering the decisions w/ regard to the conduct of the trials in the right direction - as much as they're involved and have input into that end of the business.
