Yeah, in the civil litigation. As far as the IPR petition he's listed as Lead and the other attorneys from trustwave and centrify are backup. So it's looks like the IPR is his thing and he got the others to join in, maybe pay some 'gas' money too for the 9,000$ filing fee. What do they have to lose, like you pointed out they can all still settle at any moment. The IPR is separate from the civil case.
