"Decreased output due to running test batches of potential buyers' feedstock" would be "just another excuse by the company for not being able to reach previously announced production levels". They've used it before and they'll use it again...this reminder didn't reduce the likelihood of it.
Logically, in an environment where raising capital is critical, production resources would be used for product to be converted to cash. But "running test batches of potential buyers feedstock" makes for such a feel good excuse that I suspect it will be deployed whether it's true or not. The carrot that the vision of machine sales provides has greater WOW value than the production and sale of a few more gallons of fuel.
