Wise,
U of A tested the electro-optic properties. One of the first boxes to check towards a viable device. Metricon measured optical loss. One of the last boxes to check.

I have a mixed review about today's PR. On one hand, it only mentioned satisfactory third party verification of one parameter, optical loss. It did mention material thickness and refractive index was accurately measured, but it stopped there. Ok it was measured... now what?

On the other hand, satisfactory optical loss measurement was one of the last parameters needed as reported by the company during the February Belgium meeting:

I even remember the very knowledgeable skeptic BSmith in 2013 posting over and over, where's the optical loss measurement?!
