Wow, silkworm cocoons being used in this way is something I have never heard of. So this is a way to extract product from our cocoons and then use it in cosmetics potentially or just use the actual cocoon itself or both. If our transgenic silkworms make proteins or oils that are unique and different or better than other cocoons then they might be wanted for this market. Very very interesting. $3.99 for 10 cocoons is interesting too. Obviously there is a demand if people are selling this stuff. I just find it weird that people rub the actual silk cocoons on their faces. But I like the fact you can only use it once and then have to use another one. Repeat business if it works.
