Yup. But you don't know what Jon actually said do you? You only know what they reporter quoted from their conversation.

Seeing that their report was on Viet Nam increasing their silk production (which is exclusively rearing silk) I think it is obvious that the costs of WM making a product for KBLB is irrelevant to a story on silk production.

The reporter included the statements relevant to the story.

Also I will add that KBLBs cost is in silk production. Exclusively rearing silk is where our costs come from.

We will JV and work with other companies but the costs of WM weaving gloves tents or BP vests out of it is not in KBLBs costs they are in WMs

So Jons statement is 100% contradictory to what you want us to believe. KBLBs Slik will cost no more than mundane silk.
