Dito, and I believe the same thing contrary to my pessimistic and investigating nature. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you look at it I have learned to only trust those that have earned it, especially in investing. There are way too many people that look out for their own interests and have ulterior motives.

As far as shorting, I have never shorted a stock in my life or even purchased put options. I don't believe in it. I believe it unfairly puts control in the hands of people that don't own shares and therefore they shouldn't be able to borrow (from people who don't want to lend)or in the case of naked shorts, make shares out of thin air. IMO if you don't believe in a company don't invest, there is no positive effect to shorting. Take a look at the link of Jim Cramer (I posted) boasting about his illegal shorting activities and lying to financially benefit at the expense of others ....karma is a beeotch and he'll get his.

At the end of the day I am an investor and obviously don't want to put my hard earned money in harms way, so as an investor I hope we succeed. That being said I hope we succeed in treating Cancer first and foremost because if anyone God forbid is touched by the disease all the money in the World won't matter much without better treatment options!
