Here's are the problems that his testimony puts to the 9/11 commission report - which avoided his testimony altogether.

1- It puts him into the bunker with Cheney at 9:20 – the 9/11 Report states Cheney did not get there until 10AM. Of course Cheney right after 9/11 stated publicly that when the second plane hit the WTC (9:03) the secret service burst into his office and whisked him to the bunker (it took over 50 minutes?).
2- In the 9/11 Report the military said it was not following flight 77 and here we have poor Norman saying they were
3- They have stated that Cheney gave an order to shoot down the planes unfortunately the planes had crashed when the order was given – this statement does not square with the fact that Cheney was tracking the plane from at least 50 miles out. Also that means that there was at a minimum 17 minutes to get a fighter to “protect” DC air space. Andrews AFB has fighters on alert 7/24 to do just that and they did that day as well.
4- To avoid these obvious problems the 9/11 Commission Report avoided mention or further explanation because Norman insists this happened. After all it was didn’t he issue the orders to bring all the planes in US air space down immediately.
