I remember that too. That definitely was strange. I've seen AS reduced before in an effort, presumably, to gain investor confidence - but reducing OS by 4 billion? I don't remember seeing that and then radio silence for over a year. We've all seen the big share buyback of Apple recently but that had a clear purpose.
And of course in the cybersecurity arena as well. GBT just posted on Facebook an hour ago saying "Cybersecurity is more important than ever, and GBT Technologies Inc. is leading the charge with innovative solutions! Their cutting-edge cybersecurity technology ensures your data stays safe from threats. With GBT, you can trust that your information is protected, allowing you to focus on what matters most. Visit Our Website Today."
So they're trying - but is anybody listening? Time will tell.
Thank you. Didn’t realize it had been that long. You could be right. You do see some come off of EM flying out of the gate.
Haha what a shocker right? I thought all these plays were diamonds in the rough? Ugggh…as you say welcome to the Wild West
Boy nearly 50 mil in debt? Some of that handled by issued shares and debt settlements, but can they get out of this hole? The financials are unaudited too which makes me question why anyone would RM with them. I have 10 mil shares but it’s hard to be optimistic. You sense this will just keep going up in OS but we’ll see. I guess a lot depends on how much they paid off the debt. Also need to get the financials audited, you’d think, to get a decent RM partner. We shall see.
Yeah true that. I didn’t realize this had hit the expert market until you said that. I’ve been following this one for months but not in the past couple of weeks. When exactly did it go EM?
It doesn't have to go to greatness to be a great trade from this level. Just look at Spooz.
It does this every so often. Hard to know - I hope we see follow through tomorrow. I think we’ve seen big volume days recently with low volume the following day. May we break that cycle.
Holy cow. 154 million plus shares? Thats not strong that’s roid rage holding well done
I think so too. The OS and AS are verified through yesterday at 1.5 and 1.75 bil respectively. A $302K market cap, and they're in potentially lucrative sectors. I still love the idea of Better Health Sciences being a pet owner. You could certainly do significantly worse in the OTC IMO.
Appreciate the feedback. Until then we wait.
I understand the argument that they do business differently in Taiwan, and they're not on our schedule, we're on theirs, but I still think it's strange we're not hearing anything. No PRs, nothing on the company itself. All we seem to know is their headquarters location and that they're a new company. Still - no website, nothing? It's been almost a month since the quarterly came out that revealed the news. That makes for a lot of speculation.
I hope you're right. They may be holding on to a few of the patents that they feel are more valuable, not wanting to give in to selling the whole kit and caboodle for peanuts. You may be accurate in your thinking here. The other possibility is that they patents don't carry as much value as us shareholders would wish, but we don't want to entertain that idea just yet.
That's a great point. It also adds to the fear of so many that their jobs will be replaced with AI - this could well be an example. If it's not GBT, another big fish will come along and potentially displace a lot of aides in these facilities. I remember it being referred to as "technological unemployment" back around 40 years ago. It might come to fruition with AI.
Agreed. Government contracts would be nice, but it's also interesting to see it in the health care arena.
For better or worse (sadly, I feel it's worse), assisted living facilities are an enormous business in the U.S. Just look at how assisted living facilities looked in the 1970's and 1980's, then look at them today. My mom's place looks like she's living in a swanky condo building in a major city. Not only that, but the food is incredibly good, and they have activity directors that keep them busy all day doing different things. They don't just sit the residents in front of a TV all day watching soap operas anymore. The whole thing has changed - they do have a movie night every night at 6:30 in my mom's place, but it's like a mini-theater. As a result, believe me, these facilities ain't cheap.
If you get a foothold in assisted living facilities, you've got something.
As someone who has a mother in an assisted living facility today, and who has had to deal with her falling a few times, this xCalibre technology does intrigue me. GBT's latest post on Facebook about their technology talks a bit about its functionality in assisted living facilities...
"The advanced AI technology used in the xCalibre system allows it to recognize when a resident has fallen or is experiencing an adverse health event."
That could be a big deal, because these facilities are short-staffed these days, and many falls go undetected for awhile. I've seen it first-hand day in and day out for over a year. The article on the whole is interesting - but how does the technology work? I feel like these articles are short on the specifics....

Good morning - I don't see any changes with the OS or AS. That market cap change is probably happening because the stock goes to no bid and the share price is shown at .00005 rather than .0001. That would change the market cap from 1.68 to 1/2 that, around 850K. That would be my suspicion.
Good morning Aquahoya,
Agreed. We know that this occurs on every board in the stock market. According to OTC Markets, Tesla has over 3 billion outstanding shares, and the authorized share count is "unknown." Just off of the outstanding share count, the market cap is slightly over $574 billion. Last July, the stock price reached $284 a share, compared to the $180 it trades at today. I think this would put the market cap at around $900 billion.
Do they have those kind of revenues? I'm thinking no. As you say, it's about potential - people are investing today, thinking that in 10-20 years, their piece of the pie will grow substantially in an ever-growing EV car market. Many of these investors are probably in their 20s, and aren't flippers - they're actually thinking about their long-term futures, and are treating Tesla as a mutual fund/IRA. That's what I'm suspecting anyways. I have a buddy in his late 20's who put a fair amount in Apple 8 years ago. He's certainly happy today.
I think for people only thinking of 1 day trades, or maybe a month in a stock, and flipping constantly (i.e. someone who basically trades for a living), this just isn't in their mindset. They may just not have the patience for it.
To me that's encouraging. Pretty darn low OS and AS compared to many in the OTC. I like their involvement with BetterPets too. MC is under 500K now. I think this one could be a solid long-term play at this price.
Hopefully the Avant AI/GBT Tokenize Corp deal gets consummated and it helps us here. Avant continues to trade heavily today.
Well if that's the case, hopefully we get the update very soon. Why can't they just announce what it is now? Are there some legal implications to doing that? If so, why even announce that there will be a significant reduction? I don't get the games - why not just be transparent?
If that is in fact the reduction, he really used legalize to try to get this to move. He can argue that significant is a subjective term. Things are always foggy here in OTC land. Who's to say they don't do this reduction, then just go back and add it in later from the AS? Still not going to get too hurt buying 1s here, but I would think it would be hard for this to go on a real run. Investors get wary after this kind of a move - each new tweet is looked at with a jaundiced eye. Still holding but this definitely smells funny.
Haha....fantastic movie! Man is it creepy....the 1970s type of film they used really added to the creepy atmosphere. Nowadays, the film just looks too clear and perfect. It's almost like vinyl records vs. listening to songs on Spotify.
Why are there so many brilliant people here online that have to toot their own horns? Why can't they just be happy with their success? Isn't the greatest revenge success and happiness? I start to question that happiness when the taunting starts.
Pretty wild how those posts begin appearing when volume comes in and it gets noticed on the breakout boards. If it somehow reaches trip 6 I would expect those posts to increase and intensify in their content with the insults, etc.
Dang! And here I thought I was the oldest. A pleasure to meet you sir.
It only took me 30 years of investing to get there. :) I'm 55 years old, so I've taken my lumps. The one constant I had drilled into my head was the 401K - and never to deviate from it. That came from my late father, who basically said something like "If you don't see that money in your account and it goes into your 401K directly, you'll never miss it, and you'll forget about it." If not for him, I doubt I have that egg. When you're young you just want to cut every corner and think you've got tons of time. In some ways you do, but starting early there is absolutely paramount.
Did the attorney letter show up on OTC Markets last night? I don't remember seeing it yesterday....
Pretty strange how there haven't been any trades yet today?
I guess if you're just buying at trip 1 and don't need the money for a year or two, it's doable, but as you've pointed out, it can get very frustrating. It's another reason you don't bet a fortune on these plays though - you don't want to tie up 30K or more for years, when you could have been earning at least like 4-5% conservatively in CDs at a minimum, or just putting it in your 401K, paying down your house, car, etc. If it's extra fun money ok, but if you need to get it out for other reasons, that's another issue. I'm sure those things happen at times when we see these 50-100 mil blocks go off - might not always be dilution, could just be retail desperate to get the money out for various reasons. Life happens.
I was waiting for someone to comment on the "one" references. Ugggh....unless you're someone like Confucius it comes off as overwhelming condescension, which never plays well.
I might have gotten confused. Someone used that language in one of the posts, and you had actually said...
"I do see the same poster reposted other ones about different tickers, saying similar verbiage. But I haven’t seen anything new from the company have you?"
So I may have conflated the two messages.
Hmmm that is interesting - so the real estate venture may NOT be a cut and paste from other companies? I saw that being talked about here on the board.
Sorry you've been stuck here - I get it. I have around 20 dogs with fleas from the OTC I've been stuck in. I'm around 30K in the red from said companies. Got caught in the 2021 craze...
What specifically were the updates? I've been holding here awhile too. It would be great to see this wake up a bit.
I think this is the case with a majority of these negative posters here and on other boards. When you look at their past post history, it's interesting going back a few years. You can see where they were once very high on certain stocks that went south very quickly. Look at my post history - I've picked a bunch of bad stocks too - but you just can't bet over your head. Some of these people are like the ones that get free drinks at the casino, then lose a bunch of money because they drank too much and lost their inhibitions, then get angry at the casino for their losses. You have to take responsibility for you.
I agree with you 100%. The upside vs. the downside here is absolutely crazy in favor of the upside. Your brother-in-law invests the way I do with 401K - I just invest as much as I can there. The fun money, it's all OTCs..we're already invested in the blue chips in our 401Ks....why not have some fun with the fun money?
Good luck to you too buddy. I said FINRA but I wonder if they focus more on the internal operations of a corporation, rather than the timing of the filings. The filings may be more SEC-related. Not entirely sure who gives the leeway here.
Don't give up hope yet. I'm in GBT Technologies, and they too went to the yield sign, late with their 10-K. It ended up arriving on April 19 and they're back to pink current. It seems like FINRA gives some leeway in a lot of these cases.
That's the big question - WILL that happen? I agree, if we do see a reduction in the OS, this could move big. I have to see it with my own eyes, in OTC Markets, before I finally believe it.
That's kind of why I've taken a similar approach to Boston - I only have 6 1/2 mil shares, rather than 10 mil, but I want to be in the game in the event they do significantly reduce OS. Similar to Boston though, I'm not sure that's going to happen. So it's hedging your bets, playing both sides of the fence, whatever you want to call it. You have to be careful in any trip play. I'm in SONG too, and they were promising the moon and the stars, claimed they had over 1 bil in revenues, etc. and it's at .0001 from .0008/9 territory. It's very risky to bet big on these types of plays, but I do think it makes sense to buy some here in the 1s (within reason) and see how it plays out. No question there's tremendous upside.
I hope it's true....I'm always skeptical. Why do you tweet this and say it'll be in 3 business days, and it's a "significant amount." Why so opaque? Why not just get it done, then tweet the amount of shares they cancelled in an official tweet after it's done, and why they did it? It just sounds strange, like they're trying to get the share price to move over the next 3 days. We'll see if it actually happens - again I hope so! Just always wary in OTC world.
It's interesting how the Chairman, Supervisor, etc. names are spelled slightly different than what we see on the quarterly. Still, the address matches that one given in the One Taipei building. I guess we'll just have to see how all of this plays out.
