what's interesting is the call gave context to some of the recent moves. TD2 having issues? $PMCB brings in Dr. Sher who has expertise running clinical trials. things moving slowly? bring in Dr. Tong who could get things moving quickly in Chinese trials instead.
no idea honestly. i'm still in $PMCB for the six month time frame. after that I'll reevaluate. we better see some real progress in the coming months.
well said efood!
Great level-headed post!
Go $PMCB
Looking good Pete!
$SGMO is currently rated a HOLD and long term is a BUY. Earnings are at close today.
$OTIC has a book value of $4.96. Amazing share price considering this company is sitting on over $200 million dollars in cash and US Treasuries.

"Apple (AAPL) shares were up 1.5% in midday trading after KeyBanc Capital upgraded the stock to Overweight, saying the aggressive move to "subscription-like" phone purchases can offset slowing sales, MarketWatch reports. KeyBanc's base-case price target is $187, which is 17% above a recent price of $159.41."
From Barron's today.
Anyone know how many people are following $PMCB on FB? Seems like the number is higher than I remember.

A PhD from Janssen attended PMCB's presentation at the Bio conference. You know, when PMCB won the 2017 Pipelines of Promise award
http://convention.bio.org/buzzofbio/
You know, Bio, attended by over 1,100 biotech companies and 16,000 people in the industry.
It's a Red Herring. In the past few weeks we've had Argument from Silence, Shifting the Burden of Proof, False Attribution, Wrong Direction, Appeal to Fear, Ad Hominem...
Really, I mean every fallacy I know has been thrown at us along with the kitchen sink when being critical of $PMCB.
Wow, who would have thought that debate club would come in handy when discussing biotechs...
Share price indicates many, many others believe it's a possibility. $PTOTF has been on Fox News and CNBC since the shooting.
Again, IF the victims sue and IF they win, the casinos' insurance companies are going to force them to do something. I don't see Vegas casinos looking like TSA checkpoints if it can be avoided.
Do you know other tech companies that are offering casinos an alternate weapon detection system?
That was April 30, 2017. On October 1st we had the deadliest shooting in US history, because a casino failed to prevent a nutjob from amassing an arsenal of 23 rifles in his hotel suite.
If you've been following the news closely, it certainly appears the MGM will be sued by the victims' families and by the hundreds of injured. After massive lawsuits, insurance companies force their clients to do whatever they must do prevent the same situation from happening again.
I don't believe every casino in Las Vegas will install metal detectors. That just goes against the entire vibe and atmosphere of Vegas. Instead, $PTOTF's discrete system could be installed at and inside elevators to alert security that someone has weapons.
An elevator is the perfect place to install such a system as it can be locked down and isolated.
IF the US Gov determines that $PTOTF's tech could save lives, I'd expect accelerated approvals for whatever licenses Patriot One needs.

CiaB for pancreatic cancer in 2017:
Jan 4, 2017: $PMCB Announces pre-IND meeting with FDA
debenture paid via stock
Are you going to explain this comment? I mean, I've been out of college for a while, but back in the day Equity was equity and Debt was debt.
What is this "debenture paid via stock"?
Jan 4, 2017: $PMCB Announces pre-IND meeting with FDA
IF you figure the company value right now is 50Mil, and if they used the entire shelf, the dilution would be a 50% decrease in current owners value.
This is the S-3 filed on 9/13:
http://ir.pharmacytebiotech.com/all-sec-filings/content/0001683168-17-002356/0001683168-17-002356.pdf
It is a 124 page PDF. Go to page 39 for the list of Exhibits. Notice which standard forms were actually filed by Pepper Hamilton. Exhibit 4.1 and 4.3. Forms of debentures. There is NO underwriting agreement. As filed, this S-3 is for a $50 Million debenture.
This is the Effective S-3 filed on 10/17:
http://ir.pharmacytebiotech.com/all-sec-filings/content/0001019687-14-003904/0001019687-14-003904.pdf
Exhibits start on page 34. Still no underwriting agreement. Could an underwriting agreement be filed via amendment? Yes. But right now, if $PMCB wanted to take raise funds from this shelf, it would be via a debenture.
On the surface, it's as plain as day. Dr. Tong is both and MD and an MBA. His appointment is head of Audit Committee. Who better to audit a biotech than someone with both an MD and an MBA?
The speculation is just fun. I can rest very easy at night with my position in a certain electric car company that starts with a "T", even though it has an absurd PE ratio, because it is backed by a Chinese investment company that is looking years down the road instead of just at the next quarter.
In the case of $PCMB the speculation is natural.
It is a fact that China now has more new cases of pancreatic cancer than the US:
either way it's definitely a win-win situation. this next year should be interesting.
My thoughts exactly!!!
I would love to see $PTOTF do a test for the NYPD in the New York City Subway system. The City Hall and Wall Street subway stops would be absolutely perfect places for demonstrations.
China China China
Everywhere I look today it's just China China China. $PMCB and Dr. Tong. Oil might soon be traded in Yuan instead of Dollars. Alibaba overtaking Amazon globally. Good grief!
Nice DD!!!
Gotta love alumni associations and gatherings! Great places to gain legitimate business connections.
Dr Tong has some intriguing healthcare connections in China. In a 2014 speaker bio, Dr Tong is noted as
"... an independent Director as well as Chairman of Business Development Committee of Shanghai CP Guojian Pharmaceutical, the largest bio-pharmaceutical manufacturer, as well as being the Chairman of Executive Management Committee of Shanghai Kedu Healthcare Group, one of the largest medical equipment distributor and third-party service provider in China, representing products from GE, Philips, Siemens, Kodak and the like."
http://bipasiaforum.com/en/speakers/2014/speakers_Raymond_Tong.html
Kedu Healthcare Group described in 2016:
"After over a decade of development, Kedu Healthcare has grown into the nation’s largest and the most professional service provider of medical equipment management. Kedu Healthcare owns a nationwide service network that consists of over 700 engineers, customer service staff and salespeople. In total, it has more than 1,200 employees in branches spread all over the country, providing medical equipment management services for over 10,000 hospitals and 1 million pieces of medical equipment."
http://www.am-sino.com/en/news/20160522474.html
Kedu sponsored a dinner for the Mayor of Vancouver in an economic trade mission just last month, on the 7th of September:
http://www.mayorofvancouver.ca/news/mayor-robertson-joins-vancouver-economic-commission-trade-mission-china
While pancreatic cancer rates are actually now higher in China than in the US, I suspect Dr. Tong is mainly interested in CiaB for the treatment of diabetes. I'd imagine that the Chinese government has seen the cost of managing diabetes just explode, and the government there is very forward thinking.
I know people will say it's a distraction, but I would love $PMCB to have the resources and funds to pursue pancreatic cancer and diabetes simultaneously. Much better to NOT be a one-trick pony in the biotech space.
Most places will freeze you out if they suspect you're counting. You won't be able to step foot in any casino if you get flagged.
Playing perfect strategy is legal, counting cards is not. Blackjack is way to stressful in my opinion. I've been yelled at by the person to my left for taking a card that would have busted the dealer.
Yeah, no thanks, mini-bac, craps or hold'em for me.
That's pretty funny. Reminds me of a guy I went to undergrad with who had a Porsche 911 and he could drop it off at other car dealers and "test drive" another sports car for about a week, as long as his 911 was with the dealer. Then there was this group of young women I met at a conference in NYC. They were all aspiring actresses who ate breakfast and lunch and sometimes dinner by attending open conferences.
Nice find!
I'm assuming he's an independent director. On Audit, it makes a lot of sense to have someone who is an MD and an MBA looking over a biotech. China connections are a bonus (mostly for Austrianova imo), biotech connections are another bonus. Solid choice!
My trading strategy on China: go Long MCD, KO, and PMCB!!!
As I understand it, a "skilled" video poker player may do better than a novice, but still it's a machine, and it's programmed to make sure the house wins most of the time. Paddock evidently kept elaborate calculations telling him when specific machines had last paid out bigtime. But at least in 2015, he made a lot of money on that. How? Granted, he spent a lot of his time in casinos. But still, is that unusual?
One of the wealthiest people I personally know goes to Vegas every year, sometimes several times a year, because he's incredibly frugal and he gets a free vacation. He just has to give the casino enough action and he gets comped for the entire trip.
This can be done if you play perfect strategy in blackjack, bet on don't pass in craps, bet on bank in mini-baccarat, and if you play perfect strategy in video poker. The house edge is almost nil in these situations, so as long as you have the bankroll to handle swings, you are getting free food, drinks, rooms, shows, even free flights.
Most people don't play perfect strategy in video poker because it's counter intuitive. Say you get king of hearts, queen of hearts, jack of hearts, ten of spades and ten of diamonds. 99% of people drop the hearts and keep the pair as it's a guaranteed payout. Wrong, you want to go for the royal straight flush in hearts.
Why ? Nobody reads them.

All my MJ stocks are down this morning except for Aphria.

Personally I'm weary of doing business in China. I know with the popularity of $BABA everyone wants to be doing business in China, but I will remain skeptical. This doctor was educated in Canada, however, so that's good in my book.
Dr. Tong actually has his Bachelors, a Masters, a PhD and of course his Doctor of Medicine degree, so it's:
Dr. Raymond C.F. Tong, MBA, PhD, MD.
Dr Raymond C. F. Tong, M.D., 56, is the Chief Executive Officer of Harmony Medical Inc, an Asian investment group active in the introduction and distribution of medical and healthcare products and services in China and the Asia. Dr. Tong obtained his medical degree from the University of Toronto.
Interesting choice for $PMCB's Audit Committee. Dr. Tong is an MD, that's always a plus for a biotech. He has strong ties to both Canada and China, which seems to help Austrianova more than PMCB in the long term.
Pancreatic Cancer is important to China:
