10-K past due, not on Edgar yet. Why would you pay for a reporting shell and turn it into a non-reporting shell?
A $2MM private placement?
Who PR's the dollars, it's the shares and at what share price that is important IMHO.
They're not "placing" $2MM, they are "placing" SHARES for crying out loud LOL
jonesie
In my opinion the same has happened with QTTM in the past and it is happening now. FWIW-IMO. Let me know if you want some history on this one.
junezb, I don't know ...
... but at least they didn't do what the morons running another company I'm in did ... they bought 4 companies last year, for cash and shares, lots of shares ... and at last year's PEAK PPS, they guaranteed these purchase prices by guaranteeing the share prices!
So, as the PPS was decimated in the ensuing months and the acquirees shares were coming up for registration ... the company had to renegotiate the deals one by one, end result being MORE cash for each company and gazillions more shares for each company, and in the case of 3 out of the 4, basically sold them back to themselves with huge parting gifts!l
Guaranteed share prices! Amazing!
Diluted us shareholders to the max! and nearly broke the bank.
Wait, we shareholders are the 'bank' lol, yeah, they nearly broke us.
None of these companies contributed much revenues, they did contribute costs, and now THEY are all fat and happy with more cash than before they met us.
Trying to figure out if management at the acquiring company are MORONS, or are really very smart cookies running an otcbb-listed company where they will milk/bilk shareholders as long as they possibly can.
FWIW-IMO

I wonder what the terms of the sale of Roadvision were. QTTM paid dearly for Roadvision Technology,Inc. I seem to remember the price being 7,250,000 shares of QTTM. Of course Roadvision generated absolutely no revenue and had no employees. FWIW-IMO
WOW!!! Maybe the excitement will start tomorrow......
NEWS!!! name change eom
When does the curtain raise and the show start???? I'm on my 10th bucket of popcorn........

Quantitative Methods, Corp. Announces Sale of Roadvision Subsidiary
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Market Wire
12:15 p.m. 03/30/2007
NEW YORK, NY, Mar 30, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Quantitative Methods, Corp. (QTTM) today announced that it has completed the sale of its Roadvision subsidiary.
Considering the Corporation's new strategy focused on mineral exploration and development and pursuant to the interest expressed by the previous administration in re-acquiring the Roadvision technology, management deemed the transaction to be in the best interests of the Corporation.
The impact of consummating the transaction before March 31st allows the Company to remove all the debts and liabilities reattached to the subsidiary's operations, and conclude its fiscal year ending on March 31st with a clean financial slate.
Terms and conditions of the sale will be disclosed in the Company's form 8-K filing. Management also filed a definitive form 14-C to change the corporate name to "M45 Mining Resources Inc." The name change will be effective within 7 days. The Company is filing for a CUSIP number change as well.
Due to the aforementioned corporate activities, the Company anticipates the announcement of further administrative changes in the near future.

the reading looks good. float is very interesting.
That's interesting that the sellers of the claims would take a value of $2.75 a share when the stock was trading in the .80 range when the deal was made. Certainly raises the question of whether or not it was an arms length transaction.
You know, the more I think about it, for tax purposes the seller would only recognize the amount that they actually sold the stock for as that portion of the sales price. So it would probably be to their advantage as well to have an inflated value on the stock price.
Why are you beating up on posters presenting some good questions??? Company needs to put out some info investors can sink their teeth into.......IMO... Holding, but sitting on the fence....I don't know a mine from a hole in the ground...
I have lived in Quebec for over 20 years and I know how the registration system works here.
You obviously don't have a clue about what you are talking about.
it takes up to 6 months for them to get onto the data base, here we go diaper investors trying to think they know what they are doing, out to save the world or bust a company whcih one is it, what material stake do you have here or are you just a cuusader?
So you haven't checked the Quebec Government's online website,
because the transaction between QTMM and EMG is not recorded.
All mining claims have to be recorded and that transaction isn't.
Have you checked QTTM mining claims online ?
I have for Map grid 32F12 and was unable to locate QTTM, Umining.
I did find some in the name of Jean Claude Dentinger registered in January and later in March:
CDC 2066373 Actif JEAN-CLAUDE DENTINGER (20514) (100%) 2007/03/13 2009/03/12 0,00 $ 1 200,00 $ 32F12

Uranium and Exploration Miniere Grenville (Raynault)
1- Just point of order about QTTM and Uranium, the info box on this MB clearly states: "A new Dynamic Emerging Mining Resource Corporation with investments in; Zinc, Silver, Copper, Gold, and Uranium ."
So does their website on the home page:" M45 is an Emerging Mining Company with a comprehensive knowledge of Northern Quebec and the North American Mining Territory and Industry. The Company is involved in the active exploration and development of the following metals: Zinc, Silver, Copper, Nickel, Gold and Uranium ."
http://www.m45mining.com/
2- Also by coincidence, Marie Andree Raynault, the president of Exploration Miniere Grenville who sold those 292 mining claims to QTMM bears the same family same as Ollu's wife, Denyse Raynault.
http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/fetchFilingFrameset.aspx?FilingID=4925910&Type=HTML
The mining claims sold by Marie Andree Raynault's Exploration Miniere Grenville so happen to be in the very same area as HRRN's Matagami project which is HRRN is saying will begin in spring of 2007:
http://www.he-5resourcescorp.com/matagami.html
The PR mentions the location of the claims:
"NEW YORK, NY-- (MARKET WIRE)—October 18, 2006 – HE-5 Resources, Corp. (HRRN: Pink Sheets), is pleased to announce the acquisition of claims in the Matagami Mining Camp, Quebec; located adjacent to the Perseverance zinc mine owned by Falconbridge Limited, subsidiary of Xstrata plc. HE-5 has completed the acquisition of 176 mining claims covering an area of 70 square miles in the Matagami Mining Camp. The Company plans to acquire additional claims that would more than double its current interest in this prolific mining camp.
The mining claims are located approximately 10 km. west of Matagami in the Daniel and Cavalier Townships (NTS Map Sheet 32F12), in the area known as the Matagami Mining Camp.
QTTM's PR also states they have claim in the same map grid (32F12):
"Quantitative Methods, Corp. Announces Acquisition of
292 Claims in the Matagami Mining Camp

Amazing coincidences, no ?
This is NOT a uranium play, it is down vein from the old Noranda zinc/Nickel mine,(now owned by a swiss multinational) it has been held by geologists of Exploration Miniere Greenville Inc for the past several years

I really expect those diaper dandies and the empty headed crusaders to show up here soon, as soon as they are done and moved on the company will start to move this project forward.
for more information on what a mining play consists of:

Are they getting into uranium as well. Not many a/s .
I suspect people will be following my posts and start bashing this here too...
I still have to do some dd here.
Anyway , speak to you this week.
This is one exploration play that is going to be very sensitive to any volume coming in, level 2 is very thin and this company was put together at $2.50 per share so that is where fair value is...
Expect to see some bashers here next week as a spill over from other companies associated with the principles here...
however this is an otc company with documentation, this story has not even started yet.
Not much on the float and o/s
Who is the Transfer agent on this stock? Is it national stock transfer as listed on Pinksheets or Manhattan?
just because there isn't a lot of posting doesn't mean people are watching...
Were just waiting for news...
not many posting here...
oh well....there will be soon...

March 15 (Bloomberg) -- Nickel rose to a record for a fourth consecutive day in London as stockpiles of the metal used in stainless steel plunged, increasing speculation that supply won't meet demand. Copper and aluminum also advanced.
Inventories monitored by the London Metal Exchange fell 5.8 percent to 3,594 tons, the exchange said in a daily report. That's less than two days of global consumption. Stockpiles have slumped 45 percent this year on surging Chinese demand for stainless steel.
``Supply has just not caught up with demand, particularly for stainless steel in Asia, and there is little prospect of that changing in the near future,' Kevin Norrish, an analyst with Barclays Capital in London, said today by phone.
Nickel for delivery in three months on the LME gained $1,300, or 2.9 percent, to $46,100 a metric ton as of 9:40 a.m. in London. That beat yesterday's record by $1,100.
The metal has jumped more than sixfold in the past five years as supply failed to keep up with demand. China last year overtook Japan as the world's largest producer of stainless steel. China's stainless steel production soared 68 percent last year, the Xinhua News Agency reported last month.
Copper gained $180, or 3 percent, to $6,410 a ton after stockpiles fell for fifth consecutive day. LME-monitored inventories dropped 0.8 percent to 196,125 tons, the lowest since Jan. 23.
Aluminum rose $35 to $2,750 a ton, lead gained $45 or $1,920, zinc advanced $85 to $3,305 and tin jumped $225 to $13,725.

Doubloon thank-you for the update, I never seem to be able to locate the important information. GLTY
Seems like the bid/ask is doing a wedgie at .60x.65, I am expecting some news here soon, actually the preliminary drill results and hopefully an aeromagnetic flyover results report. The company is all happy and financial backers are ready if needed so I think (speculate) that when the news hits we double or triple the share price with this 1 million public float. Will try to make contact with the company soon for an update.
looks like the well healed investors have already taken note

Any timeframe? Sooner rather than later?
it WILL, they WILL and the healed WILL take note!
i do stay in touch!
WILL-WILL-WILL = WIN-WIN-WIN
Your post is very accurate IMVHO!
There is no doubt this will go parabolic.. however the company needs to verify the historic drill results before any well healed investors take note... which they will.
IR will be out monday.....
got a good feeling about this one....
no hurry! not selling my few shares here. i'll buy on the way up!!
doubloon, LOL, I know ...
... I've read your posts for a long time and found mountains of information and news I would have not otherwise run across.
And, I've made money on a few of your favorites in the past, the ones that appealed to me as well.
Speaking of which, OT OT, I got out of GPTRF a while back, in the green. This morning I got a news alert via Fidelity:
Grande Portage Receives Drill Permit-28,000 Metre, Multi Drill Program Underway, Helicopter Airborne Mag and EM Survey Contract Signed CCNMatthews 03/02/2007
More ...
but the link is 'dead'.
Where do you get your news on that issue?
regards,
jonesie
jonesie.. independently verifiable information does more for understanding a story rather than pumping, pimping, or posting.
I might be a posting pimp but I do not pump.
Thanks doubloon, and ...
... thanks for posting that document.
