Hey there Mick, still holding DGTW.

Hey 12yp,
I’ve been waiting almost 35 years (when I was just a school age kid) for this day…..The NHL’s first home game in Seattle……
Ironically, I am in Portland at the moment, but you get my sentiment :).
Xtra Bitcoin has a 600 percent run !
Thanks for sharing SeattleITguy,
Don't really have anything to add to what you have said.
Just trying to think of things that I might wanna own in the future for whatever reason or hobby and buying it now, in case everything goes "code brown."
Rechargeable batteries for my R/C drones and cars for example.
Rechargeable LED flashlights, batteries, hand tools etc.
All stuff that I will eventually want to have anyways.
Every few years we all get worked up over some pending catastrophe and yet somehow, the sun still rises.
I am getting ready, but scaling it back when compared to how I used to freak out in the past. LOL.
Keep me posted on anything you find interesting.
Stay safe out there.
Hi Reaper,
I think I’m ready for the BOTW sequel, but it’s sounding like it’s going to be a 2022-thing. Nevertheless, the original is still a phenomenal game.
As for sources about covid? I gave up on obtaining this from media outlets about a year ago. Of course I read, listen and watch the news to keep a pulse on the world, in general, but news pundits are no experts on medicine and science. And politicians?? I am now on my third decade of ripping both Democrats and Republicans to shreds. I can’t stand either party. Sure, I’ve held my nose and voted for them, but not out “being proud” of either. I’m a multi-party system kind of person, but that’s a totally different discussion.
Anyhow, I’ve been quite happy with a Podcast I regularly listen to called the Osterholm Report that is focused on COVID-19. He’s an epidemiologist, and I feel that he does a good job of focus on the numbers. It’s worth a listen - if you’re interested in limited-to-zero political influence on the topic.
As for the solar generator. Yes yes yes! You clearly understand that non-conventional battle is what will happen if things go downhill. It’s not about territory being taken over, violence or guerilla warfare (though, there will be some poor suckers who think they have to go that route - and will inevitably fail). It’s about cutting people off from the things they depend on in life - which ALL is backed by technology (even agriculture is). That said, once people have their power cut off (which is where a solar solution is key) or their cell phone towers jammed or their food supply interrupted, they’ll be SOL. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that, though. It’d be a complete waste of time as far as I’m concerned. Again, it’s why I try (for better or worse) to bridge gaps when I see opportunities. It’s hard these days, simply because we don’t intermingle with each other in public as much because of COVID. Thus, we don’t have a chance to have ad hoc discussions about important topics. Instead, we get stuck in our echo chambers and silos of social media.
Don’t know if the URL I’ve put below will get stripped. If so, please take a minute to go to YouTube and search for “the more we get together” by Raffi. It’s such a simple song, that for decades has been listened to by young children. I admit that Raffi annoyed me when my son was two years old, but the message of this song is so applicable (IMO) these days.
https:// youtu.be/4crwVqxsVO0
Yep, one day at a time.
Was leaning toward starting BOTW from the beginning and your thoughts pushed me off the fence.
As far as Covid, I agree with you. It is likely here to stay, so we have to live our lives accordingly.
I have no doubt that we get our information from very different sources, but both sides seem to agree on that.
The solar generator that I recently bought is just a small thing designed for camping or boating.
Kinda thinking might want to do some of that on a bigger scale at some point if the world doesn't blow up.
Just made sense to get one. Affordable and compact.
A small insurance plan but more for fun than anything else.
Be well and stay safe.
Hi Reaper,
Sounds like you’re keeping yourself busy, and having fun.
Having played BoTW for a second time, I think playing everything but the castle is more fun. However, I will caveat that by reminding you that I come from the perspective of someone who raided the castle during my first go-around at the game :). So, my opinion my differ if I hadn’t already “been there, done that.”
As for Covid - had a couple friends (fully vaccinated) get sick, and transmit it to their young children. I do think the data show that being vaccinated mitigates death and hospitalization (against the current known variants), but it’s clear that the virus will continue to propagate (and probably figure out ways to make people sicker down the road). Enjoy the antibodies while you have them. If this is like other coronaviruses (ie. common cold), reinfection is likely.
While I am trying to avoid infection (at least) until my child is eligible for a vaccine, I don’t think “herd immunity” will be achievable - and if it ever is - it’ll be only after the 7 billion+ people in the world contract it quickly enough to stop mutations… so, basically never :). Hopefully more therapeutics will come to market to help normalize life. I highly recommend keeping your eyes peeled for stocks that are focused on “sanitation.” Think “flashing light on subway cars that kill molecules in milliseconds” sort of stuff.
As for generators. Doesn’t hurt to have one. For a while, I thought that was the path this country was going down, but as I step back, it seems like any conflict will be unconventional. Yeah, there will be enclaves of people with weapons, but I don’t see that being as big of a threat as it was during pre-industrial times. Again, when opportunities present themselves, I try to engage in productive dialogue (rather than shouting over each other).
Anyhow, take care! Will check in again at some point in the near future.
Hey there SeattleITguy, always good to hear from ya.
Not much happening on my end either. Havent played video games much lately. The weather has been too nice to squander.
Know I will be playing BOTW again soon and debating on whether or not to just storm the castle, or delete my save data and start over from the beginning.
I exited a lot of my plays as well.
Still have some stuff like DGTW and GVSI, along with a few others.
Might add some TTCM at some point as well.
GWTR is one of my favs that just got current and will be avoiding SEC/FINRA/OTC flush.
The chaos of the last 1.5 years is behind me.
I have had covid along with my entire family and most friends.
Just bought a Jackery solar generator in case things get real bad.
Bought the cheaper panel and battery storage which should be enough to charge tablets/flashlights and recharge laptops and power A/C devices like TVs and Radios.
Gosh. Apologize for the long post.
Hope you are well.
Say howdy anytime.
Hi Reaper,
Hope all is well. Not much news to report from my end. Played BOTW until earlier this month, and have been playing some Mario since. It’s simple and entertaining. Just the right prescription for the current times.
I liquidated most of my plays - other than TTCM. For some reason, I’m letting my gut decide for me that I should keep that one (even though I haven’t been keeping up on status for the past couple of months). I reluctantly got rid of all my DGTW - knowing that I’ll miss out on future gains. Oh well, still did pretty well considering I bought all my shares at .0001.
I’m doing my small part to try and calm the continued (and evolving) chaos that has surrounded us for at least the last 1.5 years. Not sure if I’m having any success, but at least trying to do what I think is right??
Hope you’re doing well!
Hey there SeattleITguy,
No worries. Glad things are well.
Lucky for me that even though covid restrictions have relaxed a bit, The local DMV is still closed and when I renewed my drivers license, I did it at a kiosk with no wait and no human interaction. Lovin it.
It was nice not having to wait for two hours waiting for my number to be called.
I want your life. You go to San Juan and I am happy not having to wait at the DMV.
As far as Zelda, I wasnt completely honest.
Once the wedding was scheduled, the two lawn guys left to attend the wedding.
Given my slow play through, It was a long time before they left for the wedding and then returned after.
I didn't realize that were gonna come back afterwards. I thought they were just gonna be gone.
Was hoping you could figure out to get rid of them for good. LOL.
I guess we are stuck with them.
Always good to hear from ya.
Be well.
Hi Reaper,
Sorry for the delay - been a lot of stuff going on lately. Pretty typical for a summer. In fact, just got back from a weekend of camping in the San Juan Islands. The ferry ride from the mainland to the islands is beautiful. Those of us in the PNW take it for granted. However, I’ve lived on this side of the state for 20+ years and still find myself amazed with and blessed to live among such scenes.
Still roaming Hyrule. I did attend the wedding and saw some new houses go up near my house, thereafter. The riff raff doesn’t seem to go away. Or maybe I just haven’t tried hard enough? I can’t think of one “new” thing I’ve encountered this time around - other than exploring a little more of the land. I’m up to 182 Korok’s found. Definitely more than I did the first time around. I tried going into the Lost Woods a few times to “cash those in” and maybe get the sword, but I got stumped trying to follow the path the trees were giving me.. so… I’ll probably try that again soon
Oh… I did manage to find the whole Hylian Zora outfit (the armor, of course, but also the helm and the greaves). I’ve also discovered how incredibly useful the Rubber suit is. It’s my “go-to” currently. Gotta defeat a few more Lynels to get proper upgrades for my Barbian gear, but i imagine that’ll get used more after I can upgrade.
In real life I am trying to take advantage of the “lull” in the virus, and go do some things that I hadn’t done in a while (eg. go have dinner at restaurant, actually see my coworkers’ faces when I go in to the office, etc.). I hope this can continue, but I’ll feel much better once my young one is eligible for a vaccine. So far this virus has spared the very young, statistically (but not completely). So, yeah… I could vent, but you can probably guess my feelings on the topic :). Overall, it’s nice to have a bit of general normalcy, and be able to hug my elderly parents again.
Hope you are enjoying the summer! Take care.
Hey SeattleITguy,
Good to hear. Glad you have time to play through again.
Am curious to hear if you have discovered anything new that you missed the first time around. Don't worry about spoilers at this point.
I haven't stormed the castle yet either and have been busy with other things. Looking forward to it though.
Have avoided looking at any previews because I want play the sequel cold like I did original.
Hi Reaper,
Nothing super exciting to report. Just wandering Hyrule and having fun. Beat the four divine beasts, but don’t care to run in on the castle yet.
I wonder how many years it took to develop this game? There is SO much detail. By the way, have you seen the trailer for the sequel? The only disappointing thing about it was the release ETA.
Ha! Good to hear SeattleITguy,
The nice thing about this particular side quest is that it isn't a grind.
Some of the people you need to interact with, you already have in the initial run through.
They just act differently as the journey unfolds and additional quests unlock.
Just really cool how they integrated the main story with the side stuff.
Good stuff.
I’ve started the process of getting the vagrants off my lawn. Hopefully I am on the right track, but I just climbed the Eldin tower and am now looking for a Goron whose name ends in “son”.
Man, I tell ya, this game is as awesome to play as it was the first time.
Hey there SeattleITguy,
Haven't stormed the castle yet, but have found all 120 shrines (thanks to google.)
There is one at the base of the castle, so I have gotten a glimpse of the mini-map. Yikes.
Minecraft had an update drop last week, so I always run through that one when it gets updated with new features and creatures.
Volley back to your end of the court.
You have a nice house, but wouldn't it be nice to get the vagrants off your front lawn?
Hi Reaper,
I haven’t done too much with the house yet. I am at the stage where I can add a couple things inside or outside, but I’ve found myself wandering Hyrule, instead.
Already knowing how the show ends, from my previous play through, I’m having fun finding things I may have missed the first time around.
How about you? Have you engaged the castle yet?
Hey SeattleITguy,
I agree, but it is a cool additional puzzle aspect that doesn't end up being a grind.
Just exploring and then run across something out of place.
Some of the target balloons are too tedious, but that's OK.
I am curious to hear how you are doing with your house since you didn't go through it on your previous play through.
Keep me posted.
Hi Reaper,
I’m having fun wandering Hyrule at the moment. Is it just me, or is it totally anti-climactic when you find a Korok? The seeds are useful to have - don’t get me wrong. But sometimes their are Korok’s you find in tough places, and you think it’ll be something better.
Hey SeattleITguy,
I knew what you meant. Pull that thread and you will get 20 hours of additional game play.
I honestly couldn't tell you how I captured any of the beasts. I don't remember.
I do know there is more than one way to do it.
I sought my nephews help at times and discovered that I had to do it differently than he did because of the order we went in.
I still haven't stormed the castle yet.
Started a new game called Biomutant that I like as well.
My nephew plays on PC through Steam, but I play it on PS4.
Not sure if it is on switch or not.
Glad you are able to play again.
Correction to my last post. I meant Hateno Village
Hi Reaper,
I’m currently trying remind myself how to beat Thunderbolt Ganon. I remember having to use magnesis, but there is nothing magnetic to grab onto. So I must have to beat him down to a certain level before the magnetic pillars show up.
So before I came to claim this divine beast, I was meandering around Kakariko Village and there is a house I can buy. I didn’t find that the first time I played BoTW. If you’ve played that part, no spoilers please. I’m leaving the desert after I beat Thunderbolt Ganon and taking it easy in Hyrule for a while.
Hope you have a good long weekend!
Hey there irondog, my old friend.
Thanks for sharing. I have heard Forever Young by Rod Stewart (I think) a million times.
Didn't even realize it was a cover.
Sounds like you might have a story to share if you have time.
If not, I understand as well.
Hope you are well and thanks for sharing.
Thanks 12yp,
Always good to hear new (to me) music.
Having some computer issues, so will be making some changes soon.
Might be down for a few days, but hope to post again soon.
GLTU.
Cheers! Reap, yeah good description (wiki concurs below)
Here's their first recording in 69'

Hey 12yp, Always good to hear from ya.
Interesting stuff as always.
Kinda like Pink Floyd early on and then met up with David Bowie.
Have a good weekend.
Lol, just passing thru and noticed a bud deep space trippin' ;)
Did some research and this reliable source says "don't over do it"
https://www.thesun.co.uk/tech/science/6879765/blood-moon-meaning-spiritual-astrological/
Enjoy!, gotta go - got a spaceship to catch..
Hey SeattleITguy,
That is good to hear. I still haven't stormed Hyrule.
Am up to 115 shrines and had to cheat to get there. Not proud.
Found about 100 legitimately with few exceptions.
Did get a glimpse of the hyrule castle map when checking out the nearby shrine in the back.
It is strangely satisfying to wait for blood moons and take revenge on all the enemies that killed me over and over again early on.
Better than COD zombies.
Hope you are well my friend.
Sorry for not replying sooner.
IMO and FWIW.
Hi Reaper,
Yeah, I’m not a huge gamer, but I would agree - BoTW is my favorite single player game, too. Prior to that, I would definitely have handed that designation to the Rockstar games.
About to press A and start my next play-through of BoTW.
Thanks Reap. I've been busy and just wanted to say hello

Good weekend to you!
Hardly trading cuz of that busy business but I noticed my post
Was a little cryptic. One would have to follow the thread back a bit
To see my recco RACMF/MTRX.v
Big partnership news (fortune 500) after a trading halt
Just somethin' for me to go long on while workin' in da bush..
Cheers!..
Good to see ya 12yp. Yep, has been pretty quiet here.
To be honest, I just haven't been able to think of anything interesting or insightful to post lately.
OTC stocks have been crazy in the past 6 months and everyone knows it.
No sense in pointing it out to people who already know.
Thanks for the song bud.
Have a good weekend.
Hey SeattleITguy,
I can pretty much say that BOTW is my favorite 1 player game of all time.
Back in the day Resident Evil was #1 and then Red Dead was my favorite, then later, The Last of Us.
I think minecraft is still my all time favorite game because of the couch co-op 4 player split screen.
But gosh, BOTW is so cool and involved it would be hard to play co-op.
I cant have any distractions when try to parry guardians for example. LOL.
If I cant hear the beeps, I am toast. Cant imagine throwing a new born into the mix.
Hey Guys!,.. that didn't take me too long to catch up here ;).
Hi Reaper,
“Pretty sure that when/if I beat the game, gonna start a new one almost immediately.”
This quote brings a smile to my face. It’s pretty much how I felt after beating the game. At the time, I had a one-year old starting a new “phase” that completely threw off my sleep schedule. Which is saying a lot, because it’s not like I was getting great sleep up to that point. Nevertheless, had I been getting better sleep, I would have immediately started new game.
I feel optimistic that Nintendo will do well with the upcoming sequel. Should they use the BoTW open world as the core of the sequel (which rumors pretty much confirm), it’ll give them an opportunity to add some cool new features while still giving that BoTW experience.
Hey SeattleITguy,
Its fun looking for shrines. Found a few more in that last couple of days.
I know the two you are talking about near the dueling peaks stable.
I visit the one peak every blood moon to kill the rock golem for ore and gems.
Pretty sure that when/if I beat the game, gonna start a new one almost immediately.
Good fun.
Hope all is well.
I never found all the shrines. Can’t remember how far along I got. I almost had more fun finding shrines than playing the main story.
I do remember there being two shrines close to each other - near the peaks of a couple of adjacent mountains. Sorry if that’s a spoiler. June 1 is my tentative date to start playing again. We’ll see if that happens.
Gosh SeattleITguy,
Its been a blast. I am up to 74 shrines.
My nephew says their are 120.
Wanna find a few more before the Hyrule Castle raid.
Need a few more cores to have the fairies upgrade my armor again.
Good fun.
Hi Reaper,
I hear ya. The game is just a lot of fun. Don’t blame you for wanting to savor it for as long as possible.
Hey SeattleITguy,
I am really torn. part of me wants to storm the castle, but at the same time I am trying to savor the game to fullest extent.
More shrines...more cooking dishes and waiting for blood moons so I can harvest items again.
I will let ya know if I finally beat it. Its been a blast so thanks for recommending it.
You’re on the home stretch! Look forward to hearing your thoughts - assuming you beat the game :).
I’ve been very focused on Bowser’s Fury for the past couple of weeks. Once I get through that, I think I’m going to play BOTW again.
Getting ready to storm the castle in Hyrule.
Got the switch back and just getting geared up.
Prolly be a few days until I get time, but looking forward to it.
Have a good weekend.
Thanks SeattleITguy,
I will have to check it out. I never played Mario much, but remember working as a cashier in a small town video store back in the day.
The kind of store that might see 5 people on an 8 hour shift during the week. The owner set us up with a TV and VCR under the counter and actually wanted us to watch movies and play games so we could make recommendations to people.
We could hook up the rental consoles and play SNES and Sega.
Free rentals were a nice perk as well. Played so many games for so many hours, its all a blur. LOL.
Street Fighter, Romance of the 3 kingdoms, Lemmings, Ninja Gaiden and Aerobiz are the more notables.
As far as politics, I pretty much quit. Never really liked Hannity or FOX in general. Done with Bongino, but wish him well.
No more talk radio in the car anymore either. Back to classic rock stations and all 80s weekends.
Looking forward to being out and getting some sun.
Mow the lawn, road trip on the bike and might break out the little sailboat for the first time in awhile.
Life is good. What else is there?
Hi Reaper,
I’ve actually raised my opinion of Super Mario 3D World. I think it’s actually better than Super Mario Odyssey. I haven’t found a Mario sequel to better than the first (...first for a given console, that is) since Super Mario 2 came out for the NES (and I pretended to be sick, so my working parents would let me stay home....and play Super Mario 2 all day - unbeknownst to them).
Most people can get by living life without paying attention to politics. I’ve actually gotten a lot better about ignoring the noise for the past few months, but can’t completely quit it. That said, I generally focus on the left-of-center, middle, and right-of-center outlets. In my opinion, anything outside of that just irks me. I’ll occasionally watch MSNBC or Fox News, but cant handle more than 15 minutes of either one. That’s just me, though.
I’m looking forward to being able to go outside again, and not be couped up at home with a young one and no indoor places to go. We did hit up the local bowling alley a few weeks ago when it first re-opened. I haven’t bowled in years, but that day was the first sense of real normalcy I’ve had in a while - even with wearing a mask.
I’m with you as far as mowing the grass grows. Doing yard work in the early evening sure beats the PNW winters of sunrise at 8:00am and sunset at 4:30pm.
Hey SeattleITguy,
Funny thing is my nephew said he already finished the MH Rise main story, (3 days) so I might be getting it back pretty soon.
He mentioned that he might continue playing the side stuff and maybe revisit BOTW side quests and shrines that he skipped.
I think the main test will be when BOTW2 is released. Will prolly just have to break down and buy one then.
As far as politics goes, I try not to follow it, but it kinda follows me, since my family and friends are still watching it.
Heck, I didn't know that Dan Bongino was taking Rush's spot on the noon to three time slot until a friend told me about it.
Its just gotten tedious and predictable anymore. Life is too short.
Kinda looking forward to mowing the grass again and getting some sun. LOL...How sad is that?
Hi Reaper,
The Switch is a pretty solid system. It’s target audience is different than PS or XBOX, but there are some game franchises that everyone whose played a video game likes. I can’t wait for the follow up to BOTW.
I’m also excited for warmer weather. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again. Seattle (and Western WA in general) is the most beautiful place in the world during the summer months.
As for the rest of it... I’ve been pretty good about tuning a lot of it out, but my DNA won’t let me completely turn my focus elsewhere. It’s a curse and a blessing, I suppose.
Will be curious to see if withdrawals from BOTW wind up fast-tracking any decisions for you to purchase a Switch :).

About the board
This is a “free zone” stock forum open to any stock exchange and any tier OTC security. It is intended to be a board where anyone and everyone can post stock picks, charts, research and strategies in a casual environment without any pressure.
I don’t anticipate many promotions or momentum plays being posted about here, but they are certainly allowed.
This board was created to give everyone a chance to get away from high pressure, short term trading concepts and take a longer view on what may be better opportunities.
Typically, shell corporations, recently re-instated companies, reverse mergers or other FLEs (Forward Looking Events) that may require a slightly longer term hold than a typical momentum play.
Keep in mind that posts on this board are opinions and should not be considered investment advice. You are ultimately responsible for your own actions.
For me, if stock trading isnt fun, there is no point to it.
There are a million ways to be miserable and still make money that require less time and effort.
This is always going to be work, only you get to do it on your own terms and enjoy the benefits of your own success.
So have fun, trade smart and always take profits and risk off the table.
