My "proof"...I am re-reading his first post, a response to boyce_recognition post 12794 and in it he references ONEV's IVR. That comment especially charged my interest today because today I was talking to a colleague and I noticed a "Nuance" logo on his shirt. I asked him what that was (knowing full well) about. He said it was an "IVR" company and he got it when working on a project to implement the Nuance product in our call center. I asked him what the "I" meant and he did not know. I have NEVER heard Dean or veno use IVR in describing ONEV. ONEV is closely akin to AI as veno insists. My take is that the theking2you could be a person who implements a product like that of Nuance's. NUAN is clearly IVR...

I think the IHUB admins are grossly misguided when deleting all posts (4) of theking2you and expunging his account when folks who are clueless about IT processes post junk about ONEV. In this case leaving the post of boyce_recognition and recently restoring the post of SBB at the same time they were feverishly deleting every post with reference to theking2you.

I will not be diswaded from my opinion of the IHUB admins misguidance until they can prove to me that those multpile aliases originated from a PC or laptop having the same MAC address. I rest my case.

He does seem to know the industry very well. He sited the same reason for the delay of the Telmex roll out that I did. The Telmex roll out is more difficult becuse it is to commercial as well as residential customers. I work in IT and I know how long large projects take to implement.

He responded that he wasn't Dean, had no affiliation with ONEV and that he was someone who worked 20 years in the VR industry. Of the censorship? I think the admins think the poster is connected to ONEV. I don't think they have to worry if he is or not as nothing legal came of the CEO of Whole Foods involvment with a chat room. He did get publically teased about his girly handle which was a mashup of his name and his wife's name. His involvement was much more frequent than theking2you.

Strange goings on. I was preparing to buy 90000 shares on Scottrade at .0067. My buy screen cleared off data I had typed in suddenly, and locked up. I looked at streaming quotes and the ask jumped up to .0084 the bid at .0052. I closed the buy screen opened it up again and it was working but I decided not to put in an order. What does this mean? If they wanted shares they'd be offering more. Seems they basically are shutting down business with ONEV today.???

Dumosdad, I believe you may be right.
There has been a lot of effort in getting rid of evidence of that post and anything to do with it. The board appears to be taken over by a group of bashers(as do a number of other IH stock boards I keep an eye on). If they are getting paid, the question is who else is getting paid? It is interesting that a realistic, articulate, well thoughtout post that put OV in a good long term light was killed. The bashers came out in full force today, whereas they were not around yesterday, and when the volume started to pick up a bit, and looked like it might break .007, RMCI came down and hit the ask, and stopped it. Seems like there are some forces here try to keep OV here or lower.

IHUB always responds to my contacts. Admin is always brief but polite and business-like in their reponses. However, I have never had such a quick response from them. Usually takes them hours - days and they warn contacters not to expect an immediate response.

In answer to your questions:

I follow the the technology and the industry in general, more than I follow any one company. I do not own stock in One Voice Technologies. I have not heard much on who OneVoice might be raising capital from. I suspect that it may be related to the MTNL program. I believe the projections were for ~ 1 million customers within the first two years, and would generate a base income of ~ .40 a head per month to OneVoice. Based on those numbers that's ~ 5 million $ a year, just for the basic service. That in combination with the other ongoing ventures may have some appeal to potential financiers. Modern India has a large base of technically astute individuals that are likely to embrace this technology. The current diversity and opportunities for their specific tech may be what is attracting interest

The testing phase of the MTNL program may now be running behind schedule. Live testing was to be completed by August 2008 originally. Though I do not think it is that far behind schedule. All the translation work to Hindu has been completed. Optimistic projections and time frames are the hallmark of this industry, and the IT industry in general. It is difficult to anticipate the problems that might crop up, until you start dealing with the nuts and bolts of the operation. With respect to India, this is all virgin territory, application wise, and is a process that will improve from implementation experience.

I believe the Telmex rollout is more complex than the Telnor portion. The Telmex stage includes offering the service to small business clients as well. The initial rollout to Telnor residential customers allows for subsequent reviews and modifications, if necessary, prior to a national program that will also have offerings to commercial clients. Since this is the first nationwide IVR program of its kind, I presume the initial focus is on getting it accepted and tweaked based on customer feedback etc, rather than on initially maximizing revenue. Telnor, I believe is offering the basic IRIS service for 50 Pesos. Upselling to value added services can come later. My guess is that revenue to One Voice is secondary in the begining to market penetration, and mass availiability, or at least it should be from a long term strategetic standpoint. You want to focus on making the service available to as wide a market as possible first, at any cost. If it is not available then it can never generate revenue.

Remember that Telmex has operations in the entire continent of South America. They are in Columbia, Brazil, Argentina, etc, to name a few. The America Movil wireless division has well over 100 million customers. In my opinion the focus will be on getting the basic service in wide initial use, the enormity of scale should deliver meaningful revenue. You want to get the service accepted and widely used at any cost first. That will serve as an innovative flagship that will generate a lot of interest. Carlos ran just about every US Telecom out of South America, and bought their assests for pennies on the dollar. He then invested heavily in infrastructure and made a fortune. The industry takes note of what his organization does.

How much early financial success this will bring to One Voice is yet to be determined, but they certainly have their foot firmly planted inside the door. There is no one else that can claim an equal or similar role, with as much market penetration potential.

There are no players yet in the speech recognition market that are even close to significantly dominating it. At the rate of current advances in hardware and related technology, it still favors the small guys. They are much quicker to develop applications, target niche markets that have potential growth, and adapt and respond to general trends. If you focus on being all things to all people you will end up being mediocre. Certain developed VR applications perform best in specific functions. There is no one size fits all, and there is plenty of room for multiple players in the industry.

I cannot tell within the industry who is a best bet and who is not, from an investment standpoint, that is not my area. I am attracted to correcting some of the grossly inaccurate statements on the technology. I find it humourous when lay people masquerade as experts in that field.

Onev has completed submitting
proposals to all three divisions within Telmex..residential..business and payphone..They have also submitted a proposal for all of those divisions combined at telmex's request..The proposals includes pricing and features..The different divisions within Telmex is meeting to see what features they want..Those meetings have been going on for the last couple of weeks..They are very close to completion..When that happens Onev is then called back to Mexico City to go over what each one wants..Like I said they have already priced this out and handed it to Telmex..This is a licensing deal and the payments are to be monthly..Sometimes when people start complaining that things aren't happening as fast as they want them to they need to see who Onev is dealing with..This is a huge company..The leader in Mexico in telecommunications...veno

2 things in my opinion.

On the update. Onev will know when the telmes deal is done because they get a check. They would get one the day the licensing agreement is done (typically). That would be a material event, and one they would need to announce. They would be obligated to announce it even if Telmex wanted them to wait, so I don't think the deal is done yet.

Seconldy I think you are severly underestimating what would happen tot he PPS if they achieved break even and profitability. It would go much higher than 5 cents. Although it might not do it all right away, it would go well beyond your nickle.

If they don't achieve profitability then your scenario holds out. However I believe either MTNL OR Telmex alone should make ONEV Profitable. I think Telmex has the bigger potential than MTNL however MTNL right now seems more like a surer thing and will probably be slow and steady.

The delays however are aggravating and right now there seems to be no end in sight to them.

although it appears at first glance that the issuance of a corp update means that any real news is still not particularly close, i think its possible that news could come within the next 2 weeks..
i wonder if its possible that even dean doesnt really know when the deal will be done..other than maybe its ready to go and its up to telmex to say when...thus the update even though that news could come at any time..if not for the deteriorating pps, he probably wouldnt have put out anything..

i dont think the private investors will do much for the pps unless those investors are well known, big time, or tied to a partner who is using our product in a sizable launch with their product..

and i doubt the private investors will be anything other than (at best) some type of venture capitalists who see fit to risk some small cash in a risky business with potential...im sure they something worth taking a risk..but i doubt that will impress any new investors to the tune of a decent spike in the pps.......at least by itself...should mean more if released in conjunction with other good news..but dont know if thats how it will go..

i had hoped mtnl began testing in may...then i hoped it would have started in june...i now hope they will start in july...the testing was to last 3 months...3 months is a long time when you are waiting months for those 3 months to start..lol

i would have been happy to wait at around a penny..but i dont like losing money on a daily basis...besides, it eats into your upside potential...if you were going to have a 50% pop you are much better off having it at .02 as opposed to .01...and most certainly as opposed to .006....hell 50% up from here and we are still under a penny..

thats not how it always goes but it does often enough...and its not good to bet on onev doing something other than what is normal because the stock has a history of underperforming..

when we were at .02 i thought a nickel was doable..even as the pps dropped, i thought it was possible.....i have now lowered my expectations to .03...although the reality is, the stock would have to have a huge run just to get there..
