This is particular to the case at hand.

Steipp and the board of directors are the only ones who, for sure, know the answer to your question. I will not fathom a guess.

However, I am confident that Apple has access to some of the latest machine technology of Bill Johnson, who is the mentor of Andy Waniuk, who moved from Liquidmetal to Apple. I know, for a fact, that Waniuk still maintains all of his important Caltech relationships. While I have yet to see a commercial version of Bill Johnson's Glassimetal plunger molding machine, I do know that perfecting that machine is one of his highest priorities.

None on this board know what commercialization of his machine may or may not have Apple's blessing.

Such a blessing would be a serious crunch on LQMT's Non-CE market.
It might also be a limiting factor on the sale of Engel machines.

I would never rule out Caltech and Glassimetal.
