Seeing is believing! I visited the San Jose office past December and oowitnessed what the NUVOLA could do on a Seiki T.V. It was unbelievable clear and all it has been touted to be. By the way I took surface streets from S.J. Intl, and low ad behold just a few short blocks from NTEK's operations there was a Fry's. Ya think everybody in the neighborhood hawking their widgets including NTEK doesn't want some Silicon Valley shelf space! It' s a natural and I'm sure Fry's has heavy hitters in house outside of the normal retail staff to b

This is a spot on assessment of the customer mentality right now. We went through this with 3D TVs too. The customer needs to be convinced that they need 4K. Most people are zombies and once something works, they stick with it. Try convincing someone that their standard high def is a problem to them. You are going to need proof. In fact, I wasn't convinced of 4K myself till I walked into a Costco and happened by a 4K Hisense TV. /drool

Now, NTEK might not need a demo station of their own, and could pair up with Seiki easily for that, but people don't go into a store and then buy unseen anyway. They'd want to see the picture quality. Wouldn't you?

And that's what they would look at. Regular people don't give 2 didly squats what is sending that image. Nor do they know on the average.
The np is irrelevant to the bigger marketplace.

And not needed with TV's less than 2 years old. Pointless support for a non entity.

The np-1 is last year old, and rapidly being ellipse'd by even discount TV manufacturers putting their own chips in the sets. All this maneuvering in the pink stock tout world for something even ntek has announced the next model for. And we haven't seen the first model yet!
