Guntherfd,
the contract you refer to

http://www.usaspending.gov/explore?fiscal_year=all&comingfrom=searchresults&piid=W15QKN13P0058&typeofview=complete

was competed under "SAP (Simplified Acquisition Threshold)" which has a contract ceiling of $150K typically, and $300K under special circumstances.

I tend to agree with SirFelix, in that the Spanish Distributor $100M reference is for market potential, and very possibly linked to EST II, which we haven't heard any specifics on in a while now.

The source is either misinformed or their was a slip of the tongue. The USA contract your referring to is for engineering …..Software or hardware or both? We do know that in Virtras 4th quarter review letter they mention US army qualification courseware and a Pic of a 5 lane single screen system. This is certainly being designed for EST II from a hardware and software standpoint to meet all it's requirements. I remember reading something at the end of last year that said if any other company besides cubic wins the qualification courseware will need to be certified by the US army after the award and that could take 8-12 months before they order the new systems. We know that it's been delayed, why? DO they want the army Certification first? Who knows….We also know that Virtra is looking for a Military Subject Matter expert…HMMM why? Also the VP of military sales Mulcahy was promoted and now head of all sales…..all this makes me wonder.
