To BSW: Your reasoning in this post is very clear and persuasive. I am amazed at how many of your antagonists on the issue of Options and Executive pay are so governed by their "emotional dogmatism" and single-minded focus solely on dilution of share value that they fail to engage in a fair, objective, rational assessment of ALL factors that may be relevant to making a well-informed judgment about IDCC's past and proposed usage of compensation strategies to compete and "grow" the company for the benefit of all shareholders (including all employees and investors). I hope you do not become discouraged by the excessive personal negativity of some posters as I believe you make a valuable contribution to a fair and balanced discussion on this topic.
