Also lets not forget that the marketing industry has been using bar code scanners to go to their web sites for years to check inventory etc, and that too is not a violation of NEOMs patents. Thats why I have suggested that these patents are not tested in a court of law, so its still too early to tell what NEOM owns and dont own.
Yes some of the patents were tested but not all. Its hard for me to imagine NEOM came up with the concept of scanning a code and going to a web site when that technology was already being used by the likes of Walmart etc in the past. Scanning a smart code is another whole ball game so I wont comment on that, but the standard bar codes were already being scanned and going to web specific sites or servers to check inventories or up date inventories. To go from a scanner to a server it still has to travel over the WEB.
