Badge, and I will go on a limb and say:
if you fail behind on your house mortgage and bank working on foreclosure , then suddenly you won a lottery- what bank and other people who loan you money will do?
First and foremost everyone will line-up to get paid.
That is why I predict with 99% probability that deal is done ( as JWakler and ptygold tell us) and lawyers are working on all paperwork, that will take some time.
At the end - Company might come out debt free ( for the most part) and who knows , lean and mean, we will see.
But deal will definitely result in SP going up.
