Jeff,
Hi. I think Tom answered you very well. If I could just add something here.
EcoMike and the long timers here have been making these PPS predictions long before the MVTG shares actually moved anywhere. They were sharing these thoughts years ago when they were just talking and joking among themselves mainly. This isn't some Pump and Dump show for the Johnny-Come-Latelys...(that's us).
These guys really believed this technology was worth many multiples of the what the MC was during those years between 2007 and 2012 and they sat here and waited for this time period when it would finally be mature enough to roll out commercially.
Don't focus on the PPS predictions or day to day movement. Focus on the technology. Focus on the companies, groups, and universities that are already part of the technology or are interested in collaborating on the technology.
Continue to research it and look for positives or for potential flaws that might raise a question in your mind. When you have questions on the technology, you have one of the greatest resources I have ever personally encountered on a public message board to discuss it with. EcoMike.
EcoMike might not be "Carnac the Magnificent" when it comes to PPS predictions day by day (none of us are unfortunately), but he kicks a** if you want to talk science, ERC or MRFC tech, or the history of this company. The guy is a walking and talking encyclopedia. Real information is far more valuable to me that PPS predictions, and this board can provide that in spades. Some of the other long timers here can provide good information as well. They know this company inside and out.
Let me put in another way you might be able to relate to. Remember Art Pocari's longtime bullishness on KNDI? It started long before 2013. He wrote about it and defended it for years before it finally moved. I even witnessed people mocking Art's ill timed PPS projections early on. Or some of his failed volume surge projections or failed short covering calls on Stock Twits. I even saw this on the on the KNDI private board where some members even called him out for it like they were annoyed at him for being wrong and for his timing being off.
But that was missing the forest for the trees in my mind. Art Pocari was right. He long term vision on KNDI was genius IMO. But he wasn't infallible on the day to day, month to month, or year to year calls. He was wrong on some of the micro stuff. But he nailed KNDI at a macro level and his overall thesis was dead on the money. KNDI was going to emerge a winner and be worth a ton to those who were willing to ride it out.
EcoMike is MVTG's version of Art Pocari. Appreciate him for what he is. At least that is what I would recommend to people coming here or already here. This is just my opinion.
