phigorbo, although not expecting it, I would not be surprised at all. After many years of waiting for that 'next' announcement that unlocks the door, I feel that the fruit will ripen when it's darn good and ready.
I would like to see management fire back at those that are throwing rocks at them lately with a well-timed PR that forces them to applaud loudly.
Wouldn't it be sweet if a similarly timed announcement was made this Monday regarding the Nokia/Samsung issue.
Would be nice. However, I don't think it will happen this monday.
Ericsson has to pay the 03/04 advanced royalty by 2nd and 3rd quarter. The only incentive for Nokia is the discount on advanced royalty. So, I expect them to stretch this out in order to squeeze as much concession from IDCC as possible. Maybe, by mid June.
