#6052 RE: flipper44 #6050

Referencing an 80s sci-fi movie that I am immensely fond of is really quite unfair, Flip. But, I will say that in your scenario, I and others who invested based on data that is very unlikely to be adulterated because of legalities are a world apart from those who make moves based on hearsay. Perhaps you are suggesting that they were made lazy and weak and therefore cannot help it, but even animals can be trained. Of course, on some level everything is hearsay, but of course we cannot be suspicious of everything and maintain a functional balance in the world, therefore we choose to give more credibility to some and less to others. In this case, you and I and others here are lending more credibility to the data reported than to the pundit who distorts it. It's because we aren't lazy, and have done the work necessary to uncover said data and the further work to UNDERSTAND it. The lazy have no interest in this. Further, when the article was released we had an anchor whose weight is measured in the amount of work we put into studying the situation to keep the wave from carrying us with it. That is the basis of our emotional fortitude. It is willful ignorance that harms them, not an article by AF.
