This article just came out! http://gdpinsider.com/brain-cancer-drug-key-for-northwest-biotherapeutics-inc-nasdaqnwbo-7339.html#respond Most analysts including those from Oppenheimer & Co have been of the opinion that the phase 3 trials which are currently being pursued by Northwest Biotherapeutics, Inc (NASDAQ:NWBO) on the target drug DCVax-L are a make or break situation for the firm. Analyst Boris Peaker of Oppenheimer has been quoted to have said that, “If the drug holds up in Phase III, it will be a very big win for the company because there aren’t many good options now for patients, and DCVax is certainly better tolerated than any chemotherapy. And if it works in brain cancer, it should work in other solid tumors.”

I've been busy. I know you wanted more. I'm glad others could provide what you were looking for. My default response is that everyone must conduct due diligence and determine their own risk tolerance. Never stop learning. I am passionate about this company because of what I deduct/induct they will achieve. However, despite my personal confidence, I would never dare to convince someone to spend more than they can afford to lose.

I have a decent forebrain, but every blessed family member of mine exceeds my planning capacity by at least two fold. Therefore another rule is: you must know your limitations.

My rule of thumb is that if you can't lose whatever you invested in one single company, and the next day be happy, kind and ready to help another company, then you invested more than you can afford to lose.

re: "I do not want to lose $6500 to $7000 but I would hate to miss $12,000 to 50,000 by being out."

LOL, the joys of biotech investing!

You probably wouldn't lose quite that much. Not everyone will sell if the DMC says the DCVax-L trial is futile. At .50-1.00 the stock would be priced like an option, and people will hold on - or even buy - on the chance that DCVax-Direct works, or that the company can monetize DCVax-Prostate. So if we do get bad news, and you want out, you'll be able to salvage a few bucks. It would depend on what the PR said.

But if you can only stand to lose $3,000, then better to own 500 shares than 1,000.
