That was 2 lines of some old widely spaced general survey seismic that in Treaty's case would have only been useful if incorporated with new seismic of the area they were actually drilling on. They also did mot acquire that seismic until AFTER the February 2013 CC...
By that time Treaty had already drilled 2 dry holes and had picked the 3 drilling site.

Doing seismic in no way guarantees finding oil. What it does is increase your odds of finding oil. You can also would be much better prepared for drilling in having some idea of what to expect down hole. Even doing seismic in a new exploration area that still only gives odds of a commercial find at around 15% - 20% with new modern seismic tools.
