Scams at Sports Illustrated. I did talk to the NY Mets No.2 man in Port St. Lucie today at the Mets Spring Training camp. I asked Trayer why the Mets traded Jae Seo for two minor league players from the LA Dodgers. Seo was 8-2 last year, playing only the last third of the season. His ERA was under 3. Trayer replied that he was in the same boat that I was in, he didn't understand the trade either. But, he added that player personnel was not his job. Nice guy who calls it like it is! A dead weekend so I brought up baseball. Remember Gary Carter, he's the Manager of the local Mets Class A, Florida State League team this year. And starboy, I did get to the LA Dodgers training site at Vero Beach today, but they were just finishing their daily session. I'll get back to Vero and try to get Duke Snider (who sometimes attends Spring Training sessions as does Sandy Koufax)) to autograph a ball for you. I already have one. I got it years ago. 30
