No we don't know yet if its a viable company, but it will be fully reporting so we will know soon enough. Once again if after 1 yr the stock is worth .05 or .10 I can sell for my $500-1000 and get something out of it. If it turns out to be a viable company I can sell for more. If its worthless than what have I lost nothing since it was GIVEN to me as a shareholder of IDS. Ids WILL OWN %60 of the new company they can use this as an asset on their books.
