They feel very confident for them to have that kind of exposure!

I think it's a good sign that NWBO wants to make a splash at ASCO, but I'm trying to imagine why they need all the space. ASCO is primarily for oncology doctors. NWBO has nothing for sale; that is, they have no treatment (yet!) that they need to create awareness of, so that the doctors will start using it.

I can't imagine the doctors needing all that elbow room to find out about ongoing clinical trials. The info is already available online.

Whatever interest that might be generated for the trials in person by a large booth seems like overkill...DCVax-L is all but enrolled, and DCVax-Direct already has people knocking down the doors to get into the trial.

I definitely want NWBO at ASCO. But I'm thinking they're a year early, perhaps two years, to need a large presence. Where they need the presence might be in the equivalent show in Europe. I'd like to see something jump started there.

Even if the early Direct data is looking good, and apparently it is, Direct isn't going to be approved any time soon. They can get an accelerated approval path, but I don't see Direct bypassing a phase III trial. Just my opinion.

This isn't the 1800s where you need to send a rider out to the territories to get the word out that the U.S. is at war with Britain. In the age of instantaneous information on the internet, I don't see why an oversized booth is necessary. Get a PR out with the trial results showing efficacy and that will trump everything.
