Longball, from their corp website(will try to give you a good link below in case you want to check them out); "U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray is a leading growth company investment bank. We offer investment banking services to our corporate clients and investment recommendations and trade execution to our institutional investors."

These Piper Jaffray guys are "big league" investment banking players, i.e., they have credibility and influence with the institutional investors. Danny_Detail was mighty pleased to see the news about InterDigital presenting at the Piper Jaffray conference on May 14, and since Danny is a retired Wall Street executive who worked in the institutional investment business, it has to be a very good thing IMO.

It's also nice to see such a high profile meeting with the institutional folks scheduled the day after we get our briefing from InterDigital(i.e., IDCC's first qtr earnings report on May 13).
