Very key, and the titanium market for solid materials is about $40 billion a year (140,000 tons in 2012). If 3D powder could get 5% of that market share it would be $2 billion. Not sure how many other powder producers are out there that can produce aerospace grade titanium, but I'd imagine it can't be many....
