#4285 RE: flipper44 #4283

I've been following NWBO for a couple of months. Learned a lot form all the posts here. Thanks for sharing the excellent insights!!

I do agree with you guys, if you read between the lines, the message is pretty clear to me. They are very encouraged by the results that they have seen so far.

* 61% insider ownership. There's no major selling going on. They know lot more than what we do, and so far they like what they are seeing.

* Investing in production capacity. Why would you do that unless all the info you have at hand were indicating good things? Remember, 61% insider owned. You have to assume they do what's best for the company/shareholders.

* Submission to ASCO. You don't submit a paper unless you think you have something good.

* Grant from SAB started to be drawn to the extent of $1.5M. To me, this indicates that they are preparing for enrollment, if it hasn't already happened. Expecting a PR about this any time soon. Likely near the DMC message.

* Warrants being exercised, infusing money into the company. It shows a vote of confidence by the companies (Cognate!?) who exercised their warrants.

The writing is on the wall, if you just connect the dots IMHO.

I could be wrong, but I'm more and more confident that 2014 will bring good news for cancer patients around the world (and NWBO shareholders).

I will add the following.

I would rather hear that the results are encouraging and the investigators are submitting an abstract to ASCO, so I can not tell you what I mean by encouraging, than to hear we are encouraged and there is evidence of tumor shrinkage. ASCO carries weight with potential investors. Knowing whatever from ASCO will help NWBO more than a PR stating the same results.

Flip, you just used the word "update" instead of "results" in your post. While it is true that we got an update in early 2014, I think we were all expecting results.

I say this because you and I debated it last month. In your post 3363 when we were discussing it in mid-January, you said:

"She just clarified that. We will hear Direct preliminary results early this year, and then the spring, summer and fall."

I'm not trying to pick on anyone, especially you, but I think we need to be accurate. The date that Ms. Powers has given for getting data on the patients in the trial - hard stats, not an update that the date has shifted - has steadily been pushed out from the fall of 2013 to mid-2014.

I do think it is a good sign if they were to present at ASCO. But we don't know that they will. Or if they do, what the cutoff of the data will be. And the date is months away.
