I agree with the writer, we have been living the myth, that low fat diet is good! We Americans have been mislead by the AHA, the FDA and BP. Take a look at the French, very high fat consumption & smoke, etc much lower rate of Coronary Disease. You just don't get it! It's all about our love of frozen process foods, vegetable/corn oil consumption, sugar. The problem with our kids...Soda vending machines in the schools, sugar, frozen foods and foods fried in vegetable oils. Omega 6, carbohydrate overload!

Take a look at another group of people Eskimos, high fat meat diet!

The Inuit Paradox – High Protein & Fat, No Fruits/Vegetables and yet Lower Heart Disease and Cancer.

Dewailly says the traditional Inuit diet is high in selenium, common to whale skin, and likely explains why prostate cancer is almost unheard of in the north, as are most other cancers. Cardiovascular disease is also rare, likely because the Inuit diet remains rich in wild game. “The traditional Inuit diet is fats and proteins, no sugar at all,” says Dewailly. “It is probably one of the healthiest diets you can have. The human body is built for that.”

Vscepa is the one drug, that will stop/reverse the damage done by our diet.
