Nothing against TA - it may for some types of stocks, but not for most, especially the small biopharmas. They are event or catalyst driven, and trying to predict future movement from historical patterns is useless, since you don't know when that event or catalyst may occur. Take a look at the GMCR move today - earnings aside, did anyone see anything in a chart that predicted the announcement of a global strategic partnership with KO? Doubtful.
Interesting point - it's been my experience that finding TA adherents that agree on their interpretations is like trying to find economists that agree. Possible, but not likely.
