What difference does it make? IF GOOG hadn't appealed, VRNG WOULD have! VRNG wants the laches ruling reversed, and the jury error reversed and remanded. GOOG could have done nothing, and we'd still be on appeal at VRNG's insistence based upon the judgment entered from the trial.

Goog will continue to fight Vrng all the way to the Supreme court. Goog is not going to settle as this is obvious. I think Goog may be setting a precedent for other Vrng litigants, by not settletng. We shall see.

With no apparent revenue coming from Goog for the for seeable future. Vrng will probably be forced to do another secondary offering if current legal suits do not soon yield revenue to Vrng's coffers.

It will be very interesting to see what Management has to say at the Investors conference on Feb 12. IMO

My thoughts exactly. Goof will fight til the bloody end. That has been their game theory plan all along. And Vrng feel for the trap by exposing all of their cards in the first trial. Now Google will surprise them in appeals court.
