It's called western justice! He thought he was safe by fleeing to his little palace in the Bahamas after screwing so many people over, while the SEC dragged their feet. If the SEC doesn't step it up, you will see more and more of this western justice. A guy with terminal cancer was going to make sure he wasn't going to live a life of luxury in the Bahamas after defrauding him - so he took the law into his own hands outside the US and took a finger to send to his accomplices to let them know their fate if they don't make it right and pay him back before he dies. He is out to collect and leave some money for his family after being swindle out of thousands of dollars. These scumbags continue to plague the OTC markets while the SEC moves at a turtle pace to do anything and by the time they finally get around to doing something, so many people will have been swindled out of their life savings. There continues to exist these suckers who fall victim to these OTC scams and when you try to warn them, they defend the company to the very end. Fact is I have seen way too many unwary newbies lose everything in the OTC markets.
So why hasn't the SEC stepped up to stop it sooner? Frankly they don't care and say they are overloaded with cases to investigate and not enough resources to make a real difference. Sure you will see every now and then how they nailed someone, but it is only a tiny fraction in a big sea. Our government hasn't lifted a finger to put an end to it and turn a blind eye to it. Thus making it a worthwhile venture for these criminals. They bilk all they can out of investors until the well dries up and they simply do a 1,000 to 1 reverse split and change their name to start all over again. Thus western justice steps in to take matters into their own hands and to expunge their revenge on the perpetrators. Maybe, just maybe, it will send a much scarier message to those criminals than what the SEC is doing.
If nothing is done to change the system, this will become much more frequent, count on it! When will our government wake up and do something? Unfortunately, the answer is NEVER! Too many palms are getting greased to stop it and so the evil spreads more and more. What a country we live in! It used to be the greatest place on earth to live, but our corrupted government and political system is turning it into a cesspool of greed, leaving the honest hard working middle class to pay for it all.
What a great country this WAS is soon to be echoed around the world. Already other countries are warning travelers about visiting the US and it was just in the news yesterday. The middle class is very close to being pushed into an all out revolution as our government is spending beyond all imagination at this point. We will see a tipping point within the next 2 years and I will not want to be around when it happens. Americans are leaving this country at an all time high record pace to avoid what is inevitable at this point.
Our country is broke! Our government is out of control and is about to lower the boom on taxpayers by what Obama slipped through on his healthcare bill. Retirement accounts will be taxed to death, capitol gains taxes will go through the roof, a new sales tax will be levied on your home when you sell, etc. etc. It's not "IF" it will happen, but only "WHEN" it will happen.
The time is coming faster than you think. Will you be prepared for it? Most will not and this is when the american people will finally say they had enough and throw out our elected officials and try to institute a government to live up to the real constitution, which was intended to make our country a true democracy. This is a wake up call for anyone who reads this, but as usual most will ignore it and be blind sided in the near future. I can only hope the american people wake up and start to put an end to this before its too late! Cheers!
