I don't know why they really shouldn't go back to the way they were (they were a private company) all they need is to have the criteria for loans established back to the way they were before the government got involved, a large reserve for bad scenarios etc…They worked just fine until the government stepped in and messed with criteria for the deadbeat borrowers. They have been around 80 or so years.
