Hey sister...send her some money. Or better yet, send her some other persons money. You retired at 51? Funny how most people have to work until they're 62 1/2 or 65 or 67....they blubbering about not being able to retire at 51?
It's a little less complicated than that. In certain peoples' cases it is always about me.
No kids in school anymore so they don't want to support the school system. Funny thing is though when they had kids in school they worked for the school system.
Medicare and medicaid is obviously the same burden. They don't want to pay into it now. But you can bet they'll use it come retirement. Ditto SS.
Taking care of the less fortunate? I'm sure they think their United Way donation covers that. lol.
Bottom line it's all about me or actually them. I'd rather not be included with the ones that want to take and take but not give back in return.
They spend every minute of their waking moment digging up crap like that teacher who after 30 years gets to retire on $22K a year, then they laugh at her.
They follow the same mantra as Bush. Cut taxes for the rich, screw the less fortunate and write a check your kids will have to cover. And that is the ultimate hypocrisy. They don't even give a damn about their kids because they are just passing on their debt to them.
