There are a couple of countries that are having an extremely tough time in the world economy. Egypt of course leads the list but Brasil and Argentina are close behind.

The central banks are having a nasty time trying to supply the proper amount of dollars necessary to deal with the rest of the world.

There are numerous large corporations who transfer money to the central banks and their swifts just sit there for many many months.

You have to be leery with the standard LC's without them confirmed by external banks.
