Even if it could be done, who would pay for it? I highly doubt an insurance company would cover an unapproved drug.

When looking at that timeline, even I am going to be old and gray by the time they get through phase III. I sure hope fast track is in the cards.

The protocol disagrees with your opinion. Also there was one woman reported in May to have received 7 cycles of doses, 7 months of twice weekly dosing at 3 weeks on and one week off. Each cohort receives 1 cycle of doses (3 weeks on, 1 week off) before reevaluation and possible continuation.
