Board, I contacted Midland/Crockett Commissioners Court on Dec 6, 2013. Here is the Judge's response:

"Spinning Star did not meet the deadline in Crockett County , and we have not heard anything from them."
Fred Deaton
Crockett County Judge

AND, here is a response from Upton Commissioners Court on Dec 2, 2013:

"The Wind farm project that was presented to the Upton County's Commissioners' Court by Spinning Star Energy did not develop. In speaking with the County Judge, there were deadlines that were to be met by Spinning Star that were not. This project is not developing in Upton County.

Should you have further questions, please feel free to contact me or the County Judge Bill Eyler."

Sincerely,

LaWanda McMurray

So guys, I think anything in Texas is dead for old APWR/SSE. I would think future contact with the counties in Texas for Spinning Star would be a very big challenge in the future given SSE's non performance and not keeping the court informed. JMHO

Hi, boardname,

I am still here and very saddened to hear of APWR's failure to comply with deadlines for tax exemption qualification in Texas projects that they must have had intentions of implementing with large size land purchases, hiring of procurement/ engineering co., etc.

Unfortunately, I feel that APWR has had a history now of not coming through for shareholders. The complete blackout in news is very disrespectful of shareholders who have supported APWR with its vision and green objectives. It appears that I would have done better with everything else I could have chosen to stay long term with during the early days/ months of the deep recession of 2008-2009.

Right now, it is not a good feeling. However, I am so grateful for such a loyal and still diligent group of APWR followers. I have been impressed by your, dingo, gigbw's diligence and hard work/ continued research. I also appreciate Ecomike for continuing with his moral support, as well as comments from spinningstill (what a great moniker).

I hope all of you (us) will still be rewarded for y(our) patience and hard work. Though I have to be honest that all the bad missteps by APWR here in the USA have been disheartening. :( I will hold my de-listed shares for a long time or until I hear the company has definitively made all shares worthless permanently for shareholders. I hope spinningstill will turn out to be accurate!

I also hope gig's comments about APWR China will still be a positive for us. As well as dingo's comments about APWR USA. It has been hard to see all the market gains while our once bright APWR has been left in the dust.

I wish all of you a brighter 2014 (and special well wishes to you, board; I remember so well your loyal stance and good wishes towards AWPR from the Yahoo Board, :) ). I hope all "losses" of this forum's members in APWR are offset by other aspects of your life. I hope life treats all of you well!
