One question for opinions, does the PPA need to be signed before ex/imp bank approval or could they get approval contingent upon signing of PPA . You would think that ICE would be able to give a commitment letter at the very least.
In February 2013, ICE signed a commitment letter for 4 x 20 megawatts wind projects in northern Costa Rica with Globeleq Mesoamerica Energy thus allowing a 12 month period to complete the permitting stage and execute the PPA . Once the agreement is signed, construction should commence in the 3 rd quarter of 2014 with commercial operation expected in late 2015.
On November 26 th 2013, ex/imp bank approves $61.1 million to Globeleq Mesoamerica Energy for us made wind turbine generators totalling 50 megawatts to Costa Rica . This represents ex/imp banks first wind transaction in Costa Rica .
I've yet to hear any presidential electoral take credit for this one yet?!
I think we will at the very least receive a commitment letter from ICE very soon !
Let's go STLK
