Flipper, thanks for your patience if I ask a couple more questions. It's great that you take the time to do research and post here. I like to crunch numbers, but I'm weak on scientific reports. My eyes glazed over on most of it, which is no doubt why I missed it the first time around. My apologies.
This I did see: 7 of the 10 had tumor regression. I am guessing these patients were poor candidates for success, making the results even more startling.
Two immediate questions come to mind:
(1) I didn't see DCVax mentioned. Was the actual DCVax-Direct vaccine used, or are you inferring that DCVax-Direct will work since the concept was proven in this pilot?
(2) Could the reason the company has said that the current trial is the first time that DCVax-Direct has been used on humans is because the current trial is using the enhanced version, and this study was the original vaccine?
