CEO of Clinton-based Beverage Company Receives Top Ranking LSU 100 Award

NYSE or NASDAQ soon. Dr. Marco Moran, CEO and President of Dewmar International BMC, Inc. was recently honored as one of the 2013 LSU 100: Fastest Growing Tiger Businesses during the LSU 100 honoree luncheon held at the Louisiana State University Alumni Center in Baton Rouge, LA. The LSU 100 is an annual awards program hosted by the LSU Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute (SEI), in the E. J. Ourso College of Business.

Selection for the 2013 LSU 100 is a competitive process. Dewmar International BMC, Inc. ranked number 17 among 100 businesses founded by LSU alum. Over 300 companies applied for this year's award recognition. Companies rankings are based on compounded annual growth rates from 2009 through 2011 by Postlethwaite & Netterville accounting firm.

"I was thrilled to receive such an honor from my former University where I completed my pre-Pharmacy studies during my most formidable years as a young college student. My early nineties experiences at Louisiana State University has led me to a number of positive lifelong personal and business relationships -- I am very grateful that they have recognized my business achievements," says Dr. Marco Moran, who resides in Raymond.

"Dewmar International BMC, Inc. is a successful Tiger-led business that we are proud to recognize in the 2013 LSU 100," says Lisa O'Beirne, Director of Development for SEI. "We look forward to their continued growth and involvement with entrepreneurship programs at LSU."

Additionally, Dewmar International BMC, Inc. met the following requirements for inclusion in the LSU 100:

Has been in business for five or more years
Has verifiable revenues of $1,000,000 for 2009 thru 2011
Has a former LSU student as owner of at least 50 percent of the company or as chief executive officer, president or managing partner
Operates in a manner consistent with the missions of LSU and SEI
