401Kobessive, excellent, excellent post...love it when I see people look at the picture top view...If I may add to what you said: Let's not go as far as Russia and China...giving the housing industry to lenders such as banks or insurance companies (created for the purpose)...this will destroy the housing industry and the American Dream as we know it.

Here is a living example live...just took place a few weeks ago..
I happen to meet this older lady...very sweet...she happened to have her insurance papers out and long story short...I noticed that she is paying a hell of a premium for her house...I asked "Mam, do you mind If I take a look at this...she looked surprised" Bottom line she was paying $600 more than she should have.
I asked her to call her insurance company and get justification to why she is paying a premium for a home that if she is lucky to sell today for about $75-85K insured for $245K...This is called theft in day light.

I met her weeks later and I had to ask...she said thank you so much etc....

So you tell me who is going to trust the housing in private companies hands who are willing to do anything to screw the same American Citizen that Obama claims to want to protect.

2014 is around the corner and the end of conservatorship is right there with it...
4/12/14/26 are key numbers that you will see over and over again.
When you read posts and articles, court dates let's add stock price as well etc....you will always see these numbers. Keep them in the back of your mind for whatever they are worth.

Cheers!
Crawford.

according to the former CFo of Fannie mae and author of mortgage wars; private money is what got the fannie mae and the housing sector in trouble to begin with. I doubt the govt. wants to go down that road again no matter what they say.

Not releasing F&F, would give precedent for continued redistribution of wealth from the individual to the state.
I do not think the average American, is ready to relinquish their rights or liberty, and follow the path of such atrocities similarity brought forth by Lenin, Hitler and Mussolini. JMO. FNMA
