QE's been the greatest of manipulations. Payback won't be pretty, especially if that chart is even half right. Biggest issue for gold seems to be the possible absence of the physical that's supposed to be backing up the GLD/paper. I have some physical silver in old coins, but no gold. Worried about the paper/ETF side. I'm sure it will go up to some higher level, but avoiding any COMEX/CME blow-up is the issue. At what point does physical disconnect from paper? Is it already there? Now that will be serious wealth destruction, in addition to any bursting equities and/or bond bubbles.
