Have you seen the new AMD CTO's recent comments on new core
development? They are still in the initial microarchitectural eval-
uation phase. Unless he was materially sandbagging I wouldn't
expect AMD processors based on a new core to be introduced
commercially before 2H08.

It will basically be a K8 with L3 cache, K8L. Maybe worth 5-15% in most benches. It should bring K8 up to broad ipc parity with NGA.
