Problem is it is not backed by anything physical. It is far far too volatile and is more of a gimmick sucker game. Backing by a person or group means perhaps believing in it but basing it on something physical is entirely different. Until it can destroy the purchasing power of the Buck it will be at the mercy of the Fed.
