answer from HR : "I don't think it has any impact one way or the other on the JV and there isn't any kind of sequential cause-and-effect relationship between JJ's share return and the JV that I know of or can think of. "


HR, since you hadn't thought if it, how's this for cause and effect: JJ fails to deliver a jv in 2013 therefor decides to give his shares back for the year. I guess the possibility is so obvious you must have missed it.
