Yes, there is risk that Lightwave never gets there, but I like their chances compared to all others that are trying. I don't think it was a "LSS funnel". It was the "funnel" of the entire industry.

Back in April Lou Bintz said "we need to be on their doorstep when they open the funnel". I don't think he was refering to the LSS but rather the industry. In other words, the "funnel of the industry" is the "need for the technology" which many agree will be critical by 2015.

We need to be "designed in" when there is a critical "need for the technology".

On LSS, I called Steve and his explanation was that LSS wanted to change host polymer. But the company felt that might cause problem down the road for intellectual property claim.

One positive is that the material consistence may no longer be an issue or not as big an issue. There was a question on it at the end.
